Now who is defying the odds, who truly carries a team and talk legendary. 2022 AFC Championship game, before the end of the 1st half Chiefs lose their #1 corner Sneed & #1 linebacker Gay, finish game with 5 rookies, 1 Safety, 2 Corners, 1 MLB, 1 DE, where was Joe. By the end of the 1st half the Chiefs were down to their 3rd, 4th and practice squad WR's. They still were able to move the ball chewing up the clock. Like Burrow as well as many other QB's but it will take him many years to catch up to Mahomes. Do we truly believe Mahomes is better than Brady, I would think not. So, let's not say Burrow is either.

That season, Mahomes division was garbage. A good quarterback can easily dominate in a trash division. AFC North football is different. There will never be a season that there aren't at least 2 teams from the North going into AFC Playoffs. Never has been a season. Mahomes couldn't play Steelers, Bengals. Ravens Browns twice per season, neither could Josh Allen. They are great quarterbacks in horrible divisions. No other AFC West team has been truly legitimate since Mahomes came into the league. Chargers perhaps, but Herbert is wild. Broncos? Come on, everyone is talking them up, they have the SAME record Cincinnati has with top 3 Defense in the entire league. Lamar is great, but also has a top 10 defense to keep him on the field. Easy to pad those Wins when you van almost guarantee 6 wins a season being in a horrible division.

The time these two jamarr and higgins actually play together is less then you think Joe is 12 tds 2 int in the games with no tee higgins. 2021 2022 joe had a more balanced team. 2024 not so much. Even in 2022 either tee or jamar were hurt in stretches of that year and joe still ate just fine. Keeping two alpha receivers happy and your other receivers happy is an art in itself

But I have talked to several coaches and they all say the same thing, they were really good that year because other teams weren’t familiar with what they were doing. Yes, Zac was decent that year. But look back over the last couple of years they’ve gone down instead of up, why? Other teams have figured figured out their schemes and Zac’s ‘s play calling. If it were not for Joe Burrow, this team would be a three win team if they were lucky. Those are just facts, Zach is out coached at every level by these other coaches. Again, I have nothing against the guy personally, I believe he’s a really nice guy. He just doesn’t cut it.
