@@bleepblop9556 From 1990 to 1993, SNL had the most robust concentration of talent that they had ever had -- before or since. During those years, there wasn't a single individual that carried the show. There were just funny, and funnier cast members. The comedic synergy that was produced in those years was incredible. Sadly, all great things must come to an end. Once SNL lost Dana Carvey, Mike Myers, Julia Sweeney, Melanie Hutsell, and Phil Hartman -- the show would never be as great as it once was. Thankfully, Norm MacDonald on Weekend Update helped to keep the show somewhat watchable, but then Norm was fired for making offensive jokes; and that was the final death knell, as far as I'm concerned.

Great in LOST BOYS, Jason Patric gives a solid, committed, professional performance in this sketch, he's quite good, but some people, like him, are specifically born to play the "leading man" archetype.
