This actually use to be my favorite show as a kid. Their concert was the first concert I ever went to, and i have about a dozen HHPAY things. now that I look back, the show wasn't that good, but it still holds a lot of nostalgia for me. In their concert, I remember Yumi mentioning she had received a call from Kaz, and that while getting their laundry from the laundromat, he found another women's bra in their load. I also think Yumi is subconsciously the reason my favorite color is purple.

I loved this show as a kid, actually. I even had a video game of it. While it's an odd concept I still have to say I like the stylized animation, especially the main character designs and they picked great voice actors for those two as well. Basically it comes down to Ami and Yumi where great, not quite sure if the rest was but at least they were.

Deepdarkbasement Juniper Lee was another how around the same time, I think (I don't really remember it all that much). I remember bobobo Bo Bo bobobo more, since I watched it with my cousins. Megaman NT Warrior was a fairly good show, but I much prefer Mega Man Star Force, which was on Toonami Jetstream in 2007-2008 (I remember the show pretty well from memory).

Duuuuuuude, I remember this show but you're the first person I've ever seen acknowledge it. This show was so awesome, I partially blame it for making me a weeaboo. At the very least, it was very brave, taking a couple of JPop singers who we only knew as the singers for the Teen Titans intro, and making a whole show out of them. It's a pretty stupid (stupido?) show looking back, but I have nothing but fond memories of it. It was like an equivalent of Totally Spies for me, it felt weird like I wasn't the target audience, but I loved it all the same. Might try rewatching a few episodes, or checking out their music since I'm actually a big fan of Jpop nowadays.
