First things to notice, before Hop Pop appears to the guards, there is a wanted poster for a penguin wearing a red glove in his head. That is the penguin from Wallace and Gromit. Next, the Vikings and the ship are based on the Vikings used in the deleted intro from Atlantis the Lost Empire.

I think the color of Andrias and his friends represent the color of the stones. Toad: Green represents brain, so this guy must have the Marcy of the group. Frog: The strength of the group since she is pink. She had to be strong because she knew she had to betray her friend in order to save the world. Andrias: The blue heart. But a heart can be corrupted. Andrias may have lost his powers because he lost touch of what is right and wrong in order to fulfill his family legacy. Like Anne, he lost sense of his moral compass to appease someone. Anne, Andrias. I think this alliteration is more than coincidence.

It would be nice if Disney did a sketch crossover having Anne and the talking frogs meeting up with Dipper and Mabel Pine from Gravity Falls, just like they did with the sketch crossover of Amphibia and The Owl House. Anne and the Planters are in California and Dipper and Mabel return to California after leaving Gravity Falls. Let's say they accidently run into each other and discover the talking frogs and with all the weirdness Dipper and Mabel seen in GF this wouldn't surprise them. So after they find out what Anne is trying to do with the talking frogs and try to get them back to Amphibia naturally Dipper and Mabel will want to help as well as Dr. Jan. Something Disney should try to do in my opinion.

When Dipper and Mabel left Gravity Falls after their 13th birthday it was the summer of 2012, the year when the show premiered. So the present day the Pine twins would be 22 years old now (August 31), so let's say Dipper was a friend of Dr. Jan and he and Mabel were in Angeles for some kind of science convention and like his great uncle Ford he was still into science and weirdness. Dr. Jan would get in touch with Dipper and ask for his help with Anne on getting the Planters back home. But then again this is Disney and with Disney anything is possible. Dipper and Mabel could be in the same time as Anne and the same age.

The pink frog is thousands of years old, just like Andrias. My theory is that the Calamity Box gifts the users with immortality, which supports the theory that the pink frog is Sprig's mom. Also, I think she is still alive and somewhere on Earth... more than likely disguised as a human. In fact, I'm pretty sure she was the red-haired librarian who dropped Dr. P's book next to Marcy in the flashback in "True Colors". Speaking of, I believe that the owner of the thrift store where the music box was found was also Andrias's other friend, the unnamed toad who may have been Barrel (the original owner of Barrel's Warhammer) also in a human disguise. My guess is that Anne and the Plantars will discover this sooner or later, and Sprig and Polly will be reunited with their mom. The fact that the pink frog looks so similar to Sprig is NOT a coincidence.

The suspicious looking red-haired woman who drops Dr. P's book in front of Marcy in True Colors could very well be her... the woman at the thrift store where they found the music box also kind of looks like Andrias's unnamed toad friend. I think the woman at the library dropped that book in front of Marcy deliberately, and the one at the thrift stop faked being asleep when Anne went to steal the box because she wanted her to take it. I'm certain that they are the pink frog and green toad from Andrias's flashback, having shapeshifted into human form.

I have a theory that each species of Amphibia has a deity. Specifically newts/salamanders/axolotls would have the mother of olms or the great axololt. Frogs would have 'Frog' and 'Frog Devil'. And even though there's no evidence in the show for this, I think it would be cool if toads had Beelzebufo, the giant prehistoric toad. Oh and Beelzebufo roughly translates to Devil Toad.

The frog depicted in the vase mural is most likely Andrias pink friend and an ancestor of the Plantars rather than the mom. The timeline would make sense then because the pink frog would be from 1000 years ago which would be around the 11th century which as you pointed is when Vikings were prominent. Also I think the olms that we see in quarrelers pass are the olms talked about in the message and are key to getting back to Amphibia.
