Actually the one thing I noticed no one talks about on this episode is how no one is talking about the sprig and grime battle. At the episode barrels warhammer, it was mentioned that whoever can pick the hammer up is the true leader of all toads, sasha and grime had a hard time doing it but sprig actually picked it up in such ease but still lost control of the hammer due to the rockets. Take a small detail on the hammer on top of grimes head, the rockets on the hammer is pushing grime down with extreme force but for some reason, sprig was able to pick it up really easily. I really wanted to say this since no one was really talking about it-

So I think every single episode was a weeks passing meaning every time a episode Aired a week passed that’s the only theory I have since apparently season 2 was 2 months in time

Another thing that supports the theory of Andrias and his friends being able to use the Calamity Box' powers is that if each of their colors represents the power they had, that would explain how Andrias recognized the powers Anne used to fight him, and how he knows the reason why Anne weakened after it was because she didn't know how to control them yet

Dude, I had to watch this episode *three times.* Three times, man. It was a complete masterpiece. Blew Reunion completely out of the water for me. That Western sakuga during Anne’s “SSJ” moment was sublime. Plus that orchestral version of “No Big Deal” playing. Show creator Matt Braly, composer TJ Hill, the animators, storyboarders, sound designers, cleanup artists and voice actors all deserve to feel proud and immense pride in this. And they *BETTER* get an award for this episode. The only few things I’d change are the timing of Marcy’s flashback (So the reveal would’ve had an even bigger punch) and them adding the moment when Anne comforts Sprig after he talks about his mom to the moments she had a flashback to before her anger-induced transformation. Other than those personal nitpicks, this was the perfect season finale. And I simply cannot WAIT for Season 3!

Now that the episode has officially aired I can finally talk about it. Marcy of course was an instant favorite character for me, and after seeing her backstory and how much I relate to her. Makes her my all time favorite character now, so much so Im getting 2 things custom made of her a tervis cup which Ill be getting soon, and something that I asked my grandma to make for me. Now as to why I relate to Marcy. I moved across the country once before away from friends and family and I didn't take it well. I closed myself off from making friends just because of the fear of losing them again. Took me a few years to realize that I had nothing to worry about.

Huh... I also liked marcy but I didn't realize how much I related to her. I also have moved across countries like 3 times and I have never liked it. First time I took it the best because I was 5. I made new friends in a few months Second time I did not take it as well as I was 10. I sort of made new friends in like a few years Third time I am 15 which is now I am taking it okay I guess but I still am not a huge fan of having to make new friends all over again. I have made new friends in about a year, but I don't look forward to starting another life all over again. Its not the worst, I am trilingual because of it and I have seen like 3 different cultures(sort of I dont remeber it all) but there are downsides, like whenever I go to a new country there is a period of time where I am treated like a foreigner and it never completely goes away so I dont really belong to any country which is liberating but it is also lonely. I also can't develop a community of people or have a best friend since childhood. I am kind of afraid I will never just get a best friend since I will not have known them since childhood. I am thankful I have many siblings though so I am not entirely lonely... just a little.

I have an observation regarding the calamity powers. I believe that the powers granted by the pink and green gems will be almost completely different from Anne's blue gem powers. When the castle was empowered by the box almost every glowing part of the structure glowed blue. This makes me think that the blue gem acts as the primary "fuel" source the make the technology work. The big "raw power" laser that was fired was also blue so that may support my observation. Then when Anne finally used her power it took the form of a huge boost in "raw power." In the flash back, despite having a darker color pallet, you could see that some parts of the structure weren't blue. This could indicate that the energy provided by the pink and or green gem manifests different capabilities when they are used. Therefore, if Marcy or Sasha regain their powers, their powers will be different from Anne's.

Idk what to say first this whole amazing it was worth the wait when marcy revealed that she was reason they were stuck there I had goose bumps it was so sweet the reason why she did it but at the same time it controlling and a little psychotic. I loved anne and sasha rematche I kinda wish it was longer but I guess they needed time for there big fight scene and when sprig got thrown off the building and all the flashbacks started playing I almost cried. The kings revealed was greatly done he was a pretty big part of what made the finale great he was ruthless and was going to get through anymore or anything to get to his goal. And also polly grew legs 😊 that was adorable. Frobo got crushed which that sucks but he can just be rebuilt. Marcy being stabbed was so sad and then the way she says I'm sorry and I wonder how will Anne explain to marcy parents that there child was stabbed by a frog king. But yea over all this was badass and amazing season finale. Like this is what I been wanting for animation for a long time I hope the owl house season 2 will be great as well. But yea this whole finale was amazing I want to see season 3 and how they pull all of this off

Honestly I think that the pink female frog in Andrias's flashback *IS* Sprig and Polly's mother she bears way to strong of a resemblance to sprig to be an ancestor plus we don't know what Sprig and Polly's parents actually look like which I think is pretty fishy the fact that they showed us a female frog who looks almost exactly like Sprig and is strongly connected to both the calamity box and Andrias and the fact that she was around 1000 years ago seems like the writers trying to fake us out like "here's a character who totally looks like Sprig and Polly's mom oh wait she lived 1000 years ago guess it's just a coincidence" as for how she lived for one thousand years she did take the calamity box perhaps one of its powers made it possible.

I don't know if someone had already say it, but I'm gonna say it, this reminds me of a quote from the first Kung Fu Panda, from Master Oogue (couldn't spell his name) where he said along the lines of, we will face Destiny or Disaster even though we are trying to run away from it or prevent it. This applies to Marcy cause she wanted to prevent her friends from drifting apart but instead it broke apart and they're in a serious mix of trouble. Unless something else happens next. At least, this is certainly a better reason for her than A nerd in a regular world who found a way to transport to another world and take the opportunity, even dragging her 2 friends into it because it would be like living out her games.

I don't think Marcy did anything before Anne opened the music box on her birthday. If you remember when King Andrias talked about how the music box links to other worlds, we see that Amphibia is in the center, with lines drawn that connects it to the other worlds. The reason why opening the box was enough to bring Anne, Sasha, and Marcy to Amphibia, is because opening the box is basically the return key. You can see it like this; if you're already in the other world, there is only one path; back to Amphibia. But if you're in Amphibia, there are multiple paths leading to different worlds, so the box needs you to press some settings before it knows which path you want to take Sidenote: I think the reason for the blue flame is that King Andrias and his two friends were the original wielders of the box, and King Andrias had the heart stone. If you pay attention, it does seem like he's using the blue power more, as that seems to be what activates the robot factories and powers the laser

Planters adapting to Earth 2 Ann catching every one up on what happened and dealing with what she just went threw her self. We have to know if she came home same time as she left or if she has been gone for months. and I want to see how the other girls families reacted. 3. Sasha rallies resistance . It does appear that Ann is on Earth fighting the King's forces So yes there will be way to get the King and Sasha to Earth. Once there Sash will catch Ann up on what's happened, how Marcy is doing and that she needs rescue. 4. Some people on Earth will see the planters as a threat and will go after them Humans over all will need to adapt to talking frogs That secret won't be kept long. 5 Ann will look in to the history of the box and its secrets 6. The King will start spreading lies 7. Sasha and Marcy once recovered will unlock there true powers as well Sasha will be most determined to unlock her power. 8. We'll learn about the King's past more 9. we'll see the rescue and resection of Marcy threw science or magic or both she may not even be her self at 1st but she'll recover her true self at some point 10 The day of Lavos . The find boss rises and faces all sides to unite against it but the 3 girls will have to work together to bring it down. one question Im not shore of is did Marcy's parents cancel moving after she vanished? How will every one react? the other question is will General Yunnan fight against the king? We saw she was at 1st but she remains sort of a mystery to me. other mystery, what other worlds are out there? I hope to see the next season intro looked over frame by frame.

I hate to be “that one guy” but am I the only one who knew for an absolute fact sprig wasn’t gonna die. Like the man has a plot convenience long tongue, Marcy has a bird and a grapplinghook like object, and anne could fly for that scene. Other than that the episode was near perfect and Marcy dying hit me really hard as she was my favorite character(it would have been nice if they hadn’t shown the season 3 intro yet because it actually threw away any tension of her dying LITERALLY MINUTES AFTER HER DYING, however this isn’t a flaw with the episode) and it makes me happy that animation can be good still because they were really worrying me. Edit: AND THEY CAN STICK TO WALLS so sprig if spring died it would be MAJOR plot induced stupidity

I have mixed feelings about true colors I don’t even know where to start. First off I’m mad at each of the girls (Sasha, Anne, Marcy) but I’m also sad? I’m mad that Sasha still decided to be evil, but I’m mad that Anne didn’t believe Sasha but sad bCuz it was technically Sashas fault. Then I’m super mad and sad about the part where they back away from Marcy. Ngl I probably would too bCuz of what she did but I felt BAD. All Marcy wanted was friends she just didn’t wanna be lonely...The thing that makes this sadder is the fact that Marcy was the one who didn’t gain anything. Sasha gained toad friends, Anne gained the planters but Marcy just got death. This is episode was a masterpiece, so complex yet so emotional. I’ll be waiting for s3 high hopes that it doesn’t disappoint!

Could we also find out that, Polly and Sprigs parents didn't actually die to those herons, BUT they found that book written by that old planter friend of andreas, learned about the calamity box, and used it to HIDE it as far away from amphibia. Using the heron attack to distract their kids and father, knowing that Hop Pop would be able to protect them. "You know we can never return once we leave." "I know.. But we need to do this, to protect our kids and all those innocent lives". If that is the case, I could imagine this Dr. P might actually be two frogs in a trench coat. xD

I don't know if anyone say this but... the fight with Sprig and Grime is actually a callback to the pilot video, except different design and also Sprig and Grime uses a dagger and a sword instead of the slingshot and hammer. I love the music it's no big deal was played during the fight and heartstomper as well. Both the dinner and this episode. I have a theory that he might be able to open a portal to the human world, but since Anne has all the power of the blue gem, he wants to take out the true threat. No Anne no protection....though it might be for other reasons. If Sasha has powers to take control over the toads, why didn't she do that on the planters or Anne herself? I think that was meant to throw us off to understand their powers with the calamity box and they are enforcing to show us her control issues. same to the glyph. I knew that Marcy has her own secrets...but to have her "accidently" cause her and her friends transport to amphibia....I feel sad for her because I had that situation to deal with and understand how that felt. However to go that far to do all that...I am conflicted. This episode left me excited for more but also sad as to what happened.
