You are very welcome! One advice: Do not go to Petra, it is dangerous and a tourist trap. Best to stay in Amman.
@NicoleH19892 жыл бұрын
@@jackjones143 oh really ? Petra is one of my destinations lol
@jackjones1432 жыл бұрын
@@NicoleH1989 You can go, but go with a professional tour group, don't go alone. There are many scammers and there is no police in Petra, only at the gates. So once inside, tourists are at the mercy of the bedouins, who over-charge and try to make you buy their merchandise by force. The camel-rides are also expensive. DO NOT TRUST THE LOCALS. I am Jordanian and I hate visiting Petra for these reasons. But a professional tour group from Amman can protect you from these problems. Be safe!

1:55 The reason why we shake coffee cups has an interesting story… it is said that it started way back with the Arab bedouins, where the chieftain/Shaikh would find a deaf servant in order not to hear the planning of the Shaikh and his meetings with the other Shaikhs… so if someone wants to communicate that he had enough coffee and do not want more he would shake the cup.
