As children we had Southern Loop Dress parties where our hair was also dressed up and allowed makeup. Years later I realized the clothes were actually 100 years old and the mother had inherited them but didn't realize their value. We were skinny so didn't need binding into them but stuffed the tops. We just giggled and giggled as you can imagine.😘😘

I’m in California and had so much fun buying my one square foot of land in Scotland a few months ago that I bought my sister who lives in Switzerland one for her 60th birthday last month! Lovely vlog today, we have an amazing handy man to look forward to, the walled garden is looking good and those dresses were wonderful. Pavlina is blossoming and does have a model's figure. I would love to see her dressed up in a beautiful dress, hair done, makeup done, heels and one of your tiaras, all photographed in the woodland just like HM the Queen was several years ago in Scotland. She wore a tiara with emeralds and stood in a wild, natural setting which made a complete contrast with the finery of her dress and jewels. I miss our Queen so much.

I have loved so many of the recipes that Stephanie and the many wonderful people have made in the chateau kitchen over the last few years on your channel. I am hoping that you guys will compile a recipe book with many of them in there. Maybe you could sell it for the holidays on your channel or website? Either as a download or book. It could be a great fund raiser for the chateau. I would love to buy one and have a little taste of the chateau at our home. Maybe even send them as gifts to my friends.

Yes noise in designing a garden is important, and which way your prevailing wind comes from :), and where you want that noise (babbling creek, fountain, birds, wind etc). Noise, smell and visual are all equally important I think.

You are right. As a professional framer & art restorer, there is glazing available that will protect your art. Conservation or museum glass that is non reflective, you can’t even tell it is glass.

Those dresses!!! There’s nothing like sparkly dresses to bring out the girlie from any female. Sparkles, and lace, sequins, bows, taffeta, embroidery, silk…. All of it just makes a girls heart squeal. Kirstie can absolutely wear one while mowing and weeding. Pavlina, most definitely can plant and chase chickens in a dress. ❤️❤️❤️

Ladies in the mountains drive the truck to church or parties in dresses and pearls, so a calendar of tractors drivers in dresses and pearls would work, if you borrow lots of different tractors. Out west they even square dance with tractors. 😘😘😘

Bread bowls are amazing! In California we fill them with Clam Chowder and turn the lid into garlic bread. We also do chili, potato cheese soup, basically anything goopy!

I thought for a moment you were eating a South African traditional meal, called Bunny Chow, which instead of Goulash would have been Curry Served up inside the bread. The correct way to eat though is using the bread as your utensil, breaking off bits with your hands and dipping it into the curry inside, and there by eating most of the bread and the curry. The only difference is the type of bread it would have been half or a third of a normal Loaf.
