Stuff we use:
CAMERA - This is the camera we have used to film 90+% of our interviews (over 200 interviews and counting) It continues to be our workhorse - amzn.to/2u66V1J
LENS - Most people ask us what camera we use, no one ever asks about the lens which filmmakers always tell us is more important. This lens was a big investment for us and one we wish we could have made sooner. Started using this lens at the end of 2013 - amzn.to/2tbtmOq
AUDIO
Rode VideoMic Pro - The Rode mic helps us capture our backup audio. It also helps us sync up our audio in post amzn.to/2t1n2hx
Audio Recorder - If we had to do it all over again, this is probably the first item we would have bought - amzn.to/2tbFlM9
LIGHTS - Although we like to use as much natural light as we can, we often enhance the lighting with this small portable light. We have two of them and they have saved us a number of times - amzn.to/2u5UnHv
COMPUTER - Our favorite computer, we each have one and have used various models since 2010 - amzn.to/2t1M67Z
EDITING - We upgraded our editing suite this year and we’re glad we did! This has improved our workflow and the quality of our work. Having new software also helps when we have a problem, it’s easy to search and find a solution - goo.gl/56LnpM

This video has all but saved my life! Comic characters only take positive action. Brilliant. I've been trying to write this comic antagonist for years and getting stuck because I can't make her mean enough. So what I'm getting is that I don't need to think about what would be mean or funny; she just needs to want things that are totally at odds with the MC, and feel free to really go for them.

Mr. Steve Kaplan, if you’re reading this, thank you so much for your insight on comedy..I’ve taken comedy at the Second City, and I.O. Theater in Chicago back in 2011(it’s been awhile since I’ve taken classes} and just watching your interview has gotten me to fall in love again with comedy when I first took classes...

This was a super insightful interview and such an interesting guy. He says a lot of stuff that I thought about myself but I've never heard it come from someone else. It's nice to know that you're not the only one, it's very encouraging. I love all of the stuff that you guys are doing, it's very much appreciated because it's necessary.

Film Courage These videos give a different, insightful, and serious view of the film industry. Usually when you see interviews about people in the business, it's always some quirky Q&As by Popsugar or something of the like. Questions like "what were some funny moments on set?" Additionally, those interviews and press mainly focuses on the actors and maybe the directors. I mean it's not only 5 people who made a feature film but you only see those 5 people. Plus, there is no information on what it's like being an actor, screenwriter. In fact you only know about someone in showbiz after they get famous and their person is shadowed by their celebrity. Furthermore, it also gives people who want to break into the business more guidance, motivation, and encouragement. The business is designed to make you quit i think.

Zorocanify We really appreciate you taking time to share some additional feedback with us. We aren't fans of light and fluffy interviews. We try to get as much substance out of our guests are they are willing to give us. Interesting point about "their person being shadowed by their celebrity." Is there any topic that is of particular interest to you that you would like to see more of? Thanks again.
