Oh this was so wonderful. Thank you . Did you feel Amy weird energy in Glamis castle ? I thought the Royal yacht was quite homely and simple in its decoration ( god only knows what I was expecting )! It was like a mini stately home slightly stuck in a time warp . Your interaction between each other is so lovely to see .thank you once again . Yes outlander is amazing and has brought so many friendships together from all over the word .

A question for Claire - were you able to feel any of the souls at Culloden? I didn’t feel the serenity but rather the turmoil when I walked the field, I couldn’t stay long. The Loch Ness road trip was our favorite part of Scotland - either side was full of sights. I agree with Gary that Glen Finnan hike was definitely a challenge but the view of the viaduct and potential of the hog warts train certainly kept us motivated, too. One last thing, is it possible in the posted vlogs that maybe a caption explaining or labeling what you want us to notice? Thanks!

Wow!! For ages I have been commenting on how my life has preceeded Claire's, by living in East End Park, working in Leeds (especially Kirkstall) and then working in Howarth. But now the tables have turned. I was born in Newton village which is the nearest village to Hopetown House and I spent my childhood having trips to Hopetown beach. Mind blown!!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 We have an RV here in America, but the roads are more set up for them, and there’s loads of camp sites to accomodate them. My mum and dad had a caravan, and that’s what we took our holidays in. Haggerston Castle was always a favourite.

Love your chats, lovely to hear about your hollybobs, it's interesting to hear what you do and where you went and what it's like.. Gives alot of information about a place.. My parents always holiday in Scotland up in the Highland Fort William.. And places you mentioned they had been.. But like alot of places now it gets busy and more people are having their holidays at home.. We are not a fan of these big campavans they get every where.. We live in Norfolk and there are loads.... The Fairie pools are chaotic, they are beautiful. We watched as a camper van almost dropped down the side of a cliff trying to park. I agree I think the fairie pools have been ruined by tourism.

Huntly is where Dean’s shortbread is made. Best shortbread in the world IMO. Gives me terrible indigestion, but I still eat it when I can get it. Nothing the gaviscon can’t help. You would have driven through past where I grew up in Glenrothes. My old high school is on the dual carriageway, although it’s a new school now as they knocked the old one down. As for people’s behavior in old homes, that’s quite disgusting to allow your kids to jump on furniture and touching stuff is disrespectful.

I should have warned you about the midges, they’re like Texas Mozzies. They are brutal and on steroids I think 😂😂😂. There’s even poems about the midges. I have a book I bought my kids years ago about them.
