What about "The Hijos de Calixto"??!! First, that is probably a Mexican name, but in any case, you don't mention it at all in the video!

That is a Spanish name, and I did mention that it was a Spanish gun. I assumed that was sufficient for anyone to know that it was made in Spain. I don't mention many names when the language is foreign to me, such as the many guns made in Europe. Sorry if I caused any confusion.

@@mousegunguy2537 It is indeed Spanish. I missed that, sorry. I looked it up, that is to say the company name, "Hijos de Calixto". You might want to try to dig up a copy of "Spanish Handguns The History of Spanish Pistols & Revolvers", that's where I found them. "Hijos de Calixto" are mentioned at the bottom of page 249. The word "hijos" means sons or can be generic for children. "Calixto" is probably the family name. Less likely, a town in Spain. The Spanish civil war apparently brought an end to "Hijos de Calixto". They made mostly Ruby pistols, as did half of Spain. If you need any help with Spanish translation in future, drop me a line.

@@davidkachel Thank you for the additional information. I know that the Eibar region in northern Spain was a center for many small Spanish gun makers. Feel free any time to correct me if I am wrong and add more info. I appreciate all that I can learn about these little guns!

@@mousegunguy2537 Most everything I know I got from the book I recommended, and the occasional magazine article. Fascinating guns were made in Spain, but always remember, most of them cannot be relied upon.
