U don't get what he is saying all what he means that komfo Anokye is from Akuapem and he is the one who make Asantes great because of Divisions, Denkyira was our rulers but after Komfo Anokye told us Asantes to come together and have one head that will helps us to defeat the Denkyira

1.Akwamu defeat was a collective of combined forces, not only the Akems. 2. The name Akuapem means "Akwamuhene Nkoapem" Thousands slaves. 3. Fayiase war started around 1595 . Osei Tutu was the leader, and he never came to Akuapem, which was not in existence. 4. Akuapeman peace accord was signed in the year 1731. That's where the name Akuapem came into existence. 5 The name "Otumfour" was first used by Akwamu King called Otumfour Ansah Sasraku. I Please stop the lies because generation will learn and later it will be a fight

Asante came into existence from 1699..okomfo Anokye was born in 1640 and he is older than osei tutu 1...so whr did u get 1595....

Exactly. The Asantes themselves have never denied that Okimfo Anokye was originally from Awukugua. In fact the Asantehene even paid a pilgrimage to Awukugua to honor this very fact years ago.
