Ah BF1942, such a good game, I remember spending all my hours after school until dinner, playing this game on a slow PC that could only run it at 20 FPS but I enjoyed every moment of it.

This game got me into Gaming for good. i remember when i was 5 years old when this game came out and i was literally playing it in the basement, those memories that can't be forgotten. after this beautiful game there was battlefield Heroes, who ever remembers this game is a true gamer. gone but never forgotten.

Never a dull moment with the Refractor engine. Back in the day I spent more time playing BF mods such as Forgotten Hope and Desert Combat than the base game. Servers are still out there too!

The same Patch that restores server browser function also adds high resolution. Multiplayer is not.. a movie, it is fast paced and highly competitive. Give it a go!

no love for the BF: Desert Combat Mod???, it was crucial to the future of the BF franchise. only downside being that you had to be a real pilot to fly any of the aircraft, lol.
