Dear Mr. Wolf: I am of the opinion, that over the many years I have savored your shows I am most impressed by their perfect seasoning of the irreverence of saffron and the humor of truffles. Thank you so much for what you do and the way you do it.

Did the Mayans put sugar in with the beans and the drink made from the beans? I wish I had a recipe for that drink.

The mayans dint put sugar in the drink as the sugar canes came from Africa. It has been discover by the Arabians and took later on to Spain. From there on it was cultivated in the caribbean. By then the mayans had no clue sugar existed. The ingredients in mayan chocolate drink consisted in peper and local spices.
