I bet Sebastian Bank is one of the creators. Just look at the symbol on the doors of the lodge, looks like the temples. Ceiling of the lodge, matches ceiling of the guardian and temples. Etc etc. this game has a thing for the beginning being the end and the end being the beginning. Ouroboros.

​@@JoseyMunny I think both Aquilus (the Hunter) and the Emissary SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS (your fallen Constellation best bud) are playthings compared to the creators, trying to find meaning in what was left there desperately. Constellation being a huge part of basically every cycle points to Banks being important though. Not only is the Emissary a former Constellation member, but the Hunter references that most of who he is fighting each cycle to get the artifacts is Constellation. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Banks is VERY involved, somehow.

People say Sarah looks young for her age (Late 40ish), but what about Aja? She founded The Constellation with Sebastian Banks 55 YEARS before the events of the game. Unless Sebastian recruited here straight out of kindergarden, she has to be at least 75 years old... yet she looks like she's in her 40s. Seems someone has gone a few rounds at the nearest Enhance store...

It only says that Aja was Sebastian Banks's protege who eventually took over for him. I haven't found any line of dialogue or data slate that says or even imply she founded it with him. That is to say that Aja Mamasa had the relationship with Sebastian Banks that Sarah Morgan has with Aja Mamasa, which would lead me to intuit a similar difference in age.

Would not the "founding" bit indicate that she was there from the very start? Now, of course, for all we know she could be a genius child and the daughter of one of the other members and maybe join when she was around 12 (like Cora is in Starfield), but that would still make her at LEAST 67 years old.

I originally imagined Sebastian Banks as Starborn but, since he obviously didn't go around collecting artifacts, we know he didn't jet off to Unity when he disappeared. Not in the usual way, at least. And his focus was certainly singular, as if trying to accomplish something specific. Some of the design details in the Lodge are curious, as is the fact that Banks set Constellation up as an "exploration" group more akin to a group of treasure hunters than promoters of pure science. It's actually one of the things that kind of bugged me about Constellation when I first started playing the game. Their mission statement is basically, "go out and explore the stars" and the only house rule is "you can do whatever you want as long as UC Security doesn't come knocking on our door." And there is, like, ONE legitimate scientist on the team. So we're (mostly) not scientists (but we scan things). And we are not humanitarians (despite being very judgy). Since there's no evidence that any of Banks' successors really changed the nature of the organization, there has to be more to this story. Vasco told us he hasn't needed to access his oldest files in a long time, that they are essentially outdated. But I suspect he's got something rattling around in there well worth knowing. I have often wondered if Barrett was inspired by something in Vasco's memory that pushed him along on his own journey with the artifacts. And Livingston's journal about the tradition of the sitting Constellation Chair making a pilgrimage to Luna definitely means something. In fact, I think it would have made more sense for us to get the key to the facility on Luna from the Constellation archives rather than from the Starborn. Alas.

@@baneblackguard584 Very possible. Probable, even. But why do you suppose he didn't stick around to manage his flock like Keeper Aquilus? Constellation almost folded, after all. He couldn't know his fledgling creation would actually endure to serve its purpose. It's a proper mystery.

because Sebastian Banks wasn't starting a church, he was trying to re-invigorate the desire to explore. He did that, Constellation DID continue, he did what he set out to do. It had to be able to stand on it's own eventually, without him. It did.@@catpurrson9970

Had this conversation the other day, my theory is that Walter does not trust Barret with anything but the clunker that is the frontier. They even have a special protocol just ensure the frontier always comes home and vasco even the shipyard guy insinuate protocol indigo is a regular occurrence. While Walter once you prove to be reliable sends you to get a custom ship you yourself give input on and are given one fresh off the line.

Can we acknowledge Sam Coe is a terrible father. He drags his daughter across the stars, neglects her education and keeps her away from family because HE wants to explore. Cora seems happy but she's a kid with no awareness of the actual consequences. Sam's daughter loves him but he is really letting her down by living like a gypsy.

He fails her in many ways, from putting her in danger to alienating her from her extended family (who she happens to love), but there's no indication that her education is being neglected. In a conversation it's revealed she's already showing him the chinks in his own knowledge base and is reading undergrad level theoretical physics. She clearly given the provisions needed at home to educate well above her age range. That said, the way she comes with him wherever he goes, including on ships with a member he's only just been introduced to who engages in highly dangerous missions is just beyond reckless - but apparently it's okay, because he won't let her drink underage on an off world bar...THAT'S where he draws the limit. His safeguarding priorities are so bizarre.

Narion war was an INTRAgalactic war. If the Narion War was INTERglactic it would have to have been between separate Galaxies. Starfield has 120 star systems, the Milk Way Galaxy has somewhere between 100-400 billion stars. It's small potatoes.

​@@elitedangerousfan4610Technically, the Emissary is the "good guy", as they're trying to prevent the Hunter from getting all the artifacts, mainly because they're willing to go to any lengths, including murder, to get them. That being said, the Emissary is also willing to kill unceremoniously to achieve their goals, Soo...it gets a little murky. *POSSIBLE SPOILER* That being said, you can tell both of them to piss off if you want and end up fighting them both during the endgame.
