But also you can't really blame her since to some degree alot of dal shabet fans believe these may have somewhat caused them to have trouble with their reputation and also non fans didn't want to Stan because of a potential thinking they had a "toxic fan base" it also seems possible considering how they were rising in popularity until the thing with dal shabet fandom and b1a4 fandom wars caused it to stall (and seemingly drop off) ever since... So midnight theories had to mention them imo since she was doing "a history of" video. I hope that makes sense what I'm trying to say. It hurts me too that they were not more popular... I LOVED dal shabet!!

The best decision Happy Face Entertainment had done is rebranding Dreamcatcher into a rock/metal/pop group instead of resorting into the typical sexy concept. I have a hunch that Minx were on that route as well but maybe, there's a representative that endorsed the bosses a different idea, hence, debuting Dreamcatcher. DalShabet have so much potential to stay longer in the entertainment industry but HFE seemed to be always testing the waters as they were small and new company at that time. The company being noob resulted into countless unmanaged controversies.

Dreamcatcher is their most successful group as of date and one of the most successful gg in 2021. So I have to say the company itself recently upped their game. They are getting better and good at promotions. However they don’t protect their artists against malicious comments or restock their albums.

Interesting video! DalShabet was one of those groups that I've vaguely heard of in passing, but didn't really know anything about, so this was quite informative. I was shocked to hear about the B1A4 controversy, though; that BANAs threw that big of a fit over a freaking *collab stage* was hard to believe, especially given what a good reputation the fandom has nowadays. I feel sorry for the members who had to put up with all that harassment and nonsense. 😔 But as for whether the scandals hurt their chance of success in the long run... honestly, I don't think so. Other groups have had way bigger scandals and came out alright. I think it was just timing, unfortunately. Being in such heavy competition with so many other girl groups at the time did them no favors. If they'd debuted today, their chances of success would likely be higher.

seems like they were doing great with the colorful concepts so why did the company change that up and have them do sexier moves on stage? granted their more mature concepts did well too and nobody could have predicted that ridiculous fan reaction but i think that was their first mistake. something like a fun flash mob stage where they wouldn't have to interact would've been better since they were the trend around that time 💀 i've seen companies change concepts/music when they're either not working (clc), get repetitive when the group hits big (momoland) or change to more mature concepts because the members are older (snsd, twice), but never changing a concept or music style when it's actually working. dalshabet were a month short of turning a year (1) old yet when the company came up with that genius idea... but i think they could've done great if the industry wasn't starting to get saturated + the company paid more attention to details that blew up into big situations

There’s always got to a girl group that wouldn’t succeed, notable ones were Nine Muses and Rainbow (this was sad since there weren’t many competitions). Two to three years later, there were more debuts especially from smaller companies. Groups that caught my eye were Dal Shabet, Exid and Hello Venus. If Hani didn’t have that fancam shot, Exid would also share the same fate and even disband earlier.
