Austria was and is a German state. Fact that they aren't within Germany but this was caused by the conflict of 1866. They have always been a leader among the German states and are one of them. Some inconsistencies: after WW2, why display the Chancellor in Germany (real leader), and the President in Austria (ceremonial figurehead)? Either you show the Chancellor in both countries, or the President in both countries... And why ignore the East German leader between WW2 and 1989? If you mean the history of German peoples, and include Austria in there, you should certainly include E. Germany. By the way: what's that brief appearance of "Bizonia" in 1948, covering both US and British occupation zones? Did it really exist - briefly - as a common zone? Never heard of that...

The title and content of the video are English so it is logical that the video was made for people who speak English. It is commonly accepted in historiography to use the language of writer not the language of origin. In German documentaries about the history of, let's say Hungary, you use German version not the Hungarian one. It is done to avoid confusion .
