I've always loved Reptile. Just his role as a secret character/ urban legend that grew into an often tragic character I couldn't help but root for. His story in the new game has me so excited for him. He's so awesome both from a lore perspective and as my favorite character to play. Very excited to watch this video!

they always seemed to hate reptile or something. always did him dirty. i see a lot of hate for mk1 reptile, which is so weird to me. Since this is the first time they finally brought his image and personality to the way i personally always saw him back in the arcade days before they started treating him as a nobody fodder type character. The new timeline really made him shine and did him justice.

Hating on MK1 Reptile makes no sense. The New Era version of him is undoubtedly the best version. He's got a real personality, plays an actually important role in the story, and he plays great.

I forgot to comment on this when this first posted. Yeah Reptile was my favorite character for the longest time and he still is. But then I heard that MK1 would turn him to the heroes side and I was happy. I was fine with him being a villain but I did consider him a hero though it never happened I didn’t give up hope and it did happen and I was so happy.

MK1 convinced me that good guy Reptile is the best Reptile. He fits so way among all the other heroes in the game instead of being a villain, bodyguard, or tool to be used. Reptile is a punching bag no more.

watch we find out that Chameleon is the one who is behind the suppression and pretty much extinction of the Zaterrans who are able to shapeshift because he wants to be the only one who can do it because he is the "one and only true Chameleon"

Since now Reptile aka Syzoth is the new Emissary to his People and while having new friends and allies plus his new relationship with Ashrah.. What i wonder for this policy that Syzoth uncovered i believe it would've been the work of the Male Chameleon which is my best guess 🤔 right there.. I know Female Khameleon is still in the Umgadi.. But who knows if Male Chameleon will make his third appearance for Mortal Kombat 1 plus i have been hearing that more continue story is gonna go on involving Titan Havik which might lead into something far more interesting events so we'll just have to wait and see..

I think Titan Havik might get wasted on an Invasion side story, I hope not because Invasion mode is super boring. And that would be awesome if Chameleon was used that way. The Zaterrans and their discrimination in their society over their mutation basically makes them the MK version of X-Men.

Havik is genuinely a good enough threat to be a main villain. The MKX comic series showed that aspect of the character really well. He's always manipulating things to his benefit.

@@GamerThumbTV I always think about all the possibilities for the next main threats. I do wanna see what Titan Havik is capable of doing during the next story. But I also think about Titan Onaga, Titan Blaze, Titan Shao Kahn, Titan Quan Chi. I mean it's quite a Multiverse of Madness right there.

A few incorrect statements in this video...... You stated Reptile was the first secret character created for a versus fighting game... Trojan, Street Smart, Hiryū no Ken, just to name a few all had "secret characters" in them with Hiryu no Ken having actual "cheats" to play as them. Not to mention the plethora of fighting games via dos and so on that had secret characters before Mortal Kombat 1. Other than the errors, good video.

Actually that is correct, none of those are traditional player on player VS arcade fighting games. That's a very specific genre.

Chameleon in Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy (which I don’t even know if it’s a game, I found it on an emulator website) is incredibly broken. His inputs are incredibly easy, his combos are just pressing the buttons multiple times, and you just do back and high punch to do Rains lightning bolt and it will send the character into the air, and if you time it right you can juggle people with it

You might've downloaded some kind of rom hack. There is no Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy. There's Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, and Mortal Kombat Trilogy.
