The History of Pogostuck's World Records

This video is my love letter to Pogostuck! I wanted to encapsulate the beauty of this speedrunning game and highlight all the amazing speedrunners and hype moments from the community and show it to the world in a cool spectacle. Obviously not every World Record is mentioned, not every speedrunner is mentioned, and not every detail is covered. I tried to focus on creating an informative but captivating video with the storylines. But at the very least I talked about the major dominant players and eras over this games long existence. I hope you enjoy! This video took a long time to make so shout out to Dom for carrying the edit across the finish line!

This video is the epitome of this community. Pogostuck is a game and community that has meant a lot to my life and seeing the leaderboards get pushed to utter limits is unbelievable. Everyone who has contributed to a new name on the leaderboard is everything this game lives for, and as new waves of players rise to take the storm in a future era, we admire at what we’ve accomplished. It’s a shame this most likely means no more mainline Pogostuck content from you dan, but your mark in the community is one that will never be left behind. This truly is the Apotheosis of Pogostuck.

Hey pogostuck community. I haven’t been online for a while, and I don’t any of the fastest times but I was top 200 in every category at a point. Anyway to anyone who remembers the master chat (chat) on the pogo discord that was me. I have drifted away from the game and have done other things. But as my gaming cycle continues I am likely to come back and finally get that 3 seconds faster at the top of map 3 for legend. My hands were sweating too much😂. And thanks to the person who helped me with the loot mode achievements (I forgot who it was sorry). I was ultimate emu in the discord btw, and i forgot my in game name; sad. Great vid Dan! P.S. do I still of the most pogo points? Or did testfiles come back😂.
