I was playing bannerlord and I made an empire faction, Aseri only had one war so they were getting more and more soldiers. Then the war started. And I got my ass kicked lol

I kill the aserai every game I play. They're trash. I kill their soldiers, their nobles, their children, their people, and ruins their castles, villages and country. I never assign any governor, or Lord in their cities or castles, and turns it into a ghost town. I allow bandits, and brigands to raid their villages everytime, I make aserai caravan with little to no protection for any bandits and brigands to kill them off. fuck those filthy desert dwelling creatures. They're inferior and should be treated as such.

Glory to the Empire! I am so pumped for this. I don't know if it will stay my favorite but so few game have the whole Eastern Roman/Byzantine style in them. I am sure there are some but beside some total war games and a few other rts like age of empires you cant play as a faction like this. Can't wait.

@@d.louisharrison9452 I think Turks are more like the Khuzaits. The Aserai are more like the Arabs being south of the Empire, while the Khuzaits are nomads coming from the steppes of the far east just like the Turks and the old Turkic tribes like the Uighurs.

resonant mate this is really bugging me, the empire (in bannerlord at least) is based off of the GREEK eastern Roman empire, the lore essentially mirrors real Roman history but ignoring the Latin part, when a greek word ends in oi or οι/ωι depending on whether it's modern or ancient you don't pronounce the oi its just calradi cheers boss

I got bannerlord about a month ago. I started out as a mercenary under Lucon but i just couldn't stand the Northern Empire. He would constantly call for armys, raid into whoevers lands we were at war with, and drive so deep he would be bound to get captured. Every. Single. Time. He also enjoyed starting wars, and loosing those said wars. He and his "counsels" would declare war on sturgia, id rush north with my own army only to see Him and his army down south or out west for whatever reason. I ended up abandoning the Northern Empire, fell in with Garios and the Western Empire and its been game over ever since. We have won 2 wars against the Aseri, 2 wars against the Northern Empire taking 2 cities and 4 castles from them, and a war against a Sturgian/Vlaidian coalition. Currently in a 2 pronged war between the southern Empire, and Battania but i just like how Garios actually does shit on the battle field lol. If i wanted to do everything myself, id start my own kingdom

I'm supporting the Dowager Queen. Gonna get in good and try to marry the blood heir. Doesn't matter that her father didn't think she was fit to rule, I'll try to tailor my strengths to match her weaknesses, and see if I can't help her fix, or manage, what flaws she has. We'll restore the empire to it's former glory, and establish a dynasty to last (hopefully). Can't have proper stability if there's a succession war every human lifetime. Me and Ira (sorry if I'm spelling it wrong, still waiting on the download and don't have the spelling in front of me) are going to fix the few mistakes her father managed to make. Defined succession, as long as our Empire endures.

If the "Calradoi" is spelled like that then it probably derives from Greek where "oi = οι" is pronounced as "ee". So for exaple the byzantine catafracts or katafraktoi would be pronounced as katafraktee which is plural for katafraktos.

You can't create your own kingdom in bannerlord. They add that feature on full-release or within the year, but not at the beginning.
