the funny thing is that even in its earliest release, in the OCG, red rising dragon was a master rule 4 card so even with such a powerful extender/starter, outside of god hands RDA decks were kneecapped into a protect the castle playstyle because of EMZ stipulations which meant you dumped your entire combo line for a single synchro that was definitely gonna get kaijud on

I'm so hyped to see Shaddoll Trains in 2016. One of my favorite decks of all time. Trains are just funny because giant level 10 ungabunga and the shaddoll are an engine for removal and a body. It was great.

I'm so happy that resonators were used! I've used them for years and have been trying for the longest to make them competitive. I've been able to steal wins here and there and almost went undefeated once or twice at locals. Unfortunately someone broke into my truck last year and stole my deck as I was attending a con out in Atlanta and have not made the deck again but I will be once the jack atlas deck comes out!

It's really funny because he's surprisingly not all that invincible (he really hates backrow that banishes or sends), it's just that his specific combination of ATK, ability, and destruction immunity is a massive wall for so many decks that didn't have Ash in their hand.

Yeah back when I played master duel (haven't in a while so I think it got power creeped and hit by the ban list) I ported in a deck I made in Legacy of the Duelist (though my switch was destroyed and I lost the original) and used pendulum magician resonators as my main. It was fun to play.

When this series gets to VRAINS, I wanna see Paleozoic Bomber in action. Here's how it works: you use the Paleos you summon off their GY effects as material to make 2 Mistar Boys which can link up into Topologic Bomber Dragon. Meanwhile, Imperial Iron Wall allows your Paleos that you link off to be reused over and over again to constantly trigger Topologic Bomber Dragon's effect. Now, because your Paleo monsters are immune to monster effects, only your opponent will suffer under Bomber's constant nukes. I ran this on Dueling Nexus for a while & it was a LOT of fun. It's hella janky, too.

@@11wildy63 Yeah, the Paleo Xyz Monsters help a lot with the strategy. Imperial Iron Wall is more or less a fail-safe in case you either run out of Paleo Xyz Monsters or get blocked from Xyz Summoning due to cards like Dimensional Barrier.

Thought - History of Jank: Wheel Slice Draft Special! - Identify 16 Jank decks - this could be by the creators or using polls across various platforms - MBT and Cimo then have a draft for their wheel slices, which will then be their available wheel rolls for the next 8 Jank episodes You get an extra video section out of the wheel draft where and then you get to see where Jank decks perform relative to draft position. For instance, in the second week Cimo gets his top draft pick as his spin but then proceeds to lose to MBTs last draft pick, the deck neither of them wanted.

The first deck ever where Foolish Burial is a Garnet. Red Dragon Archfiend/Resonator is my favorite deck for modern Yugioh, and I'm so hyped to see it here! I just wish there was more Resonator support during the actual 5D's era, but I can still play RDA in Disaster Dragons I suppose. Though I have to say I never thought about how technically the Arc V wave of support actually comes slightly before Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend is printed, I was surprised to see it missing here
