Badock's actual power level was ten thousand and ten. Bardock did heal from that mouth beam attack. Bardock gaining the power to see possible outcomes and Bardock rebelling against Frieza is still canon.

I heard babies who suffer hits too the head tend to become violent and angry more than most, later on in life. I like how it's flipped for goku who was from a violent race and exhibit violence then became very good after bumping his head as a babe. It makes it realistic and relevant in a small but huge way

If Yamoshi - who was the reincarnation of the original LSSJ - and the original SSJ God were somehow one and the same, that would thus mean that the Super Saiyan who opposed King Vegeta's rebellion and r4cial g3n*cide against their Tsuful overlords on Planet Plant was both the King of Saiyans's foremost direct ancestor (as Yamoshi is explicitly stated to be the progenitor of the Saiyan royal lineage) , Broly's previous incarnations and the reincarnation of the first Great Ape Oozaru to turn humanoid aka Saiyan X or the Original LSSJ.

Bardock the movie is the linear storyline i choose to follow in regards to Goku being sent to earth, not this new super nonsense, especially since that is the original canon which correlates with Frieza/Namek saga as well.

Toriyama took a page from the Kryptonian Superhero as did that writer took from the Bible and the Bible ideas where taken from Ancient Egypt yeah certain stories are recycled same story different characters . A Good story is a Good story fact or fiction if you learn from it or apply it to real life . Now Onepiece is a real original story .
