As someone who has an attention span of a hyper child, and mostly grew up with audio books/read alongs during my time in school, this works perfectly for me. Thank you so much!
THANK YOU for not only using a high-quality microphone, but for pronouncing each word in a way that's intelligible! Some narrators mumble their words, and you only catch 75% of what they say. This is so much better!

Always hits right in my heart to listen to this story again, no matter how many times i read it, instantly feels like home.
The comments here make me feel old, but I'm happy to see that today's youth is still discovering Tolkien and the timeless world he created~

Don’t worry, my family LOVES Tolkien! In fact, this is my third time reading this book. After this I’m reading Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings again❤. I really appreciate Tolkien and his works, he has also helped me learn how to write papers for school in a non-dry way. Don’t worry this generation loves Tolkien (or at least all my friends do).

I’ve been so excited to read The Hobbit since I bought it. I tried a few times and I couldn’t seem to get past the first few sentences without forgetting what I just read. So I tried reading along with you, and it worked! I can’t wait to read more, thank you for this. ❤

I've read Tolkien's work many times over, but I don't have the books right now, and I'm sick anyway, so don't feel much up to reading...these audiobooks are a gift! Especially if the narrator has a feel for the lore he's reading, and a pleasant voice. This man is talented. I might wish a slightly more British voice, but really, his accent is not egregiously American, so does not detract from his excellent narration. All the chapters have been thoroughly enjoyable!🥰👍

Has anybody heard the version of a theatrical edition where the voices almost matches the movie voices? It used to be by Blue Fax, and they still have a prequel of Thorin in a meeting with other dwarves and Gandalf. And also their songs that they did from the book. Anybody find their reuploads because they keep getting taken down for some reason.
