Bruh, what even happened? Lemme explain:
Aight so some of you may be wondering;.. where is goated? Well, it’s gone. It has been deleted off KZbin, but I did not do this voluntarily, KZbin has disabled the channel. More specifically; they disabled the google account that owned goated. The reason was due to 'using multiple google accounts to break our terms of service'.
I literally didn't use this email for anything but hosting my KZbin channel, I had no idea what sort of terms of service I was breaking. After a little bit of thinking though, I realized I was actually very much breaking a KZbin policy; creating goated was against KZbin's terms of service. Let me explain:
Around 3 years I ago I was going through a toxic phase as the alias 'Shawn'. I made degenerate videos on my KZbin channel and after my channel was reported by hundreds of people, KZbin banned me due to community guidelines strikes. Now under their policies, I couldn’t create a new channel - it was illegal, and any new channels I'd create would be deleted as well. So now I had a very good guess as to why my new channel, goated, was banned.
Realizing this, I appealed my old/Shawn channel termination, and it was actually un-terminated and restored by Google. This meant that I was no longer breaking any sort of Terms of Service. Ergo; my goated channel shouldn’t be banned anymore. I tried appealing my goated Google account with this new info, but Google didn’t accept it. Because my first appeal was rejected, I can never send any new ones.
Here's the absolutely braindead thing though; I wasn't banned because of Shawn, and avoiding a KZbin ban - that was just an assumption I had made. In reality, I discovered that my google account was banned because I made a google forms document.
I’m not joking. A week after this whole ordeal, I decided to use my business email to do a forms document for ‘HOI4 Criminality’, a series I'm trying to do. I had actually done this prior via my goated google account, having made the exact same forms document there, but now needing to re-do it via a new gmail. So I did it on my business gmail. Now after 2 days of this forms document being created… This account too was disabled.
My business email didn’t have a goddamn KZbin account or literally ANYTHING else that could've gotten me banned. The google forms was the only thing that I did. And it was the only thing I also did with my goated account prior to being disabled. For whatever reason, whenever I make a forms document my google account gets disabled. What I'm assuming has happened is that my IP and/or all my google accounts have been flagged for Forms abuse and they're now disabling my accounts whenever I use that service. I honestly don't know though, maybe I genuinely did break some sort of Forms document policy? All I did was collect flag and portrait info from my players, so I honestly can't fathom how that'd be not allowed.
So yes, goated has been permanently DELETED from history because I used a fucking google service. I tried appealing the business email and telling them that I didn't do anything, but of course I was denied. It's pretty much over for appealing my goated channel, it is gone.
I can confidently say now that I am TERRIFIED of using any sort of google service, and probably will be for the rest of my life - at any moment I could do something completely innocent and get banned for it. At least I’m not breaking terms of service anymore with Shawn, and goateds fall made me remove a looming, great dark cloud over my KZbin career that was going to bare lightning soon enough. Too bad that goated had to die for it to clear.
I might change my name back to goated now with google mapper. It's a banger-ass name.

If you like this type of diplomatic play I can highly recommend checking out Spudgun's series in Victoria II multiplayer, the game (and the historical period) is better suited for flexible diplomatic actions and series are very engaging because in Vic2 one defeat doesn't mean you lose the entire game and you can even come out on top in the end.

@@izzetonol2709 Vic 2 is quite easy to learn. 5 inf 4 art and 1 cav. Subsidies are needed, high taxes means more money but more rebels. Build a bunch of units compromised of 4 arty and 1 cav so when you mobilize you end up having higher quality troops compared to infantry death stacks. If you think a country is getting too powerful occupy there entire core territory until rebel death stacks appear and peace them out what this does is destabilize that nation for many years.

@@johnconnor8206 I'm not offended lol. On my channel i actually had to put 'WorldBox' in a comment filter so every time someone mentioned it their comment would be deleted. I had sooo many people ask me about my worldbox vids, more than people asked for HOI4 vids. So i'm more just baffled as to why people love those videos so much. I don't think I'll ever post them again tho since I find those vids really embarrassing. Do feel bad for the people who really liked them though and want to rewatch them, but I genuinely just am not comfortable posting them again.
