Hi Audrie! After you video capture in OBS do you do any de-interlacing to get the footage in a higher quality? I’m very familiar with converting to digital whereas I have several handy cams but curious as to how the quality of the footage is upgraded from 720p to 1080p. - Azia❤

In OBS, I usually just pick the highest preset first and then I stretch/fit the footage to fit the screen. There’s a tiny loss of quality doing it this way though!

I noticed the video output from your camcorder was squished on the computer screen; I'm not sure if you do post-processing to correct that, but I had the same issue. The camcorders were designed for CRT televisions which don't have square pixels, so the resolution the camcorder says it is is really keeping rectangular pixels in mind! So either the settings in OBS or some kind of post-processing need to keep that in mind ☺

Yes, I noticed that too! I’m still playing around with it right now to see if there’s a setting or something I can fix - currently filming on widescreen to see if the same issue occurs.
