This is a project I chipped away at my free time - recreating Maple sprites and animations, like the ones at 22:43 and 41:22, was particularly time consuming, but also satisfying! - Noodlebrain

As a person who feels so much nostalgia for the old Maplestory and still has an itch to go play it again one of these days, I feel targeted by this video lol Your edited sprites reminds me of bannedstory days (is that still around?) . BannedStory 4 is no longer available, but the offline version of BannedStory 3 does still work if you're able to download it. The character sprites were created in maples.im/, a spiritual successor of sorts - the skill effects used in some animations were taken from BannedStory 3. - Noodlebrain

I wonder when they all played MapleStory, because the beta and early days were so much different than what it turned into. I played from the Beta all the way to the 4th job release, and the game just got progressively worse as time went on. I remember the Beta days when there was a Balrog in the sleepywood caves and that was the endgame content. No airship or other worlds. Just one balrog every like 3 hours, and if you werent doing that then you were looking for the big mushroom boss.
