Although considered a family car or a Mom or Dad car, deep down, most of us really like wagons. They are useful, and have a charm to them- however one car company came on the scene that nobody saw coming. Honda created the Honda Civic Wagon or Country and it was incredibly efficient. Thanks for watching!

Ya know I'm honestly an American muscle guy, and as you can see on my channel I pretty much only think about V8's but these older JDM cars are so badass. They have so much style. Especially done up like this one they just look so good, old corolla's, these civic's etc. Props to Tiffani!

My mom bought a 1983 2-door Civic Hatch, vanilla beige with a four speed. Man that thing revved like an F1 car. I loved it! My dad sold it to buy a Chevy pick-up... We regretted it almost immediately. Wish I still had it today.

Reminds me of my mothers 76 corolla wagon. No power steering. Rear wheel drive or safety nannies. It taught me a lot about car control and how to parallel park. Good times

That was a beautiful car. It reminded me a lot of my sweet 1980 Honda Accord Hatchback. I sold it after losing 3rd gear due to wear. It had almost 320k on the engine and transmission, and I still redlined it everyday.

David, since I'm old, I remember these cars very well and how much fun they were.Japanese cars of the 70's and early 80's got incredible gas mileage, my 1979 Datsun 210 got 52 mpg!!!! Damn I miss that car.

I had no idea about these cars! I've never seen nor heard about them. I am sad now that I haven't because those have so much character and such an amazing piece of history..not to mention that boxyness of it is so much fun to look at and it would be incredibly fast with any type of larger engine in it XD

I've got the 80 Civic wagon. Just went in for an engine rebuild at 251,000 miles. Won't win any races, but I've gotten as much as 40mpg (typically 36), and yep, its pretty fun to drive! :) Weird fact #6, the giant rolling boulder sound from the Indiana Jones movie was recorded using the back tire of one of these cars rolling over gravel.

I used to go a section of new jersey where my mother lived known as perth amboy, heavily puerto rican and dominican populated area, they all love 80-90's imports, hondas, toyotas, mazdas. I'll always remember whenever i would go there, at one point or another i would hear all types of cars rowing through gears, something nostalgic to me everytime i hear a little d/b/k-series honda screaming.

The first generation Civic (the one before the one in this video) was not blazingly fast but it was quick enough for it's day and it was super light. My parents had a 1975 and it was a joy to drive. The CVCC engine was also clean enough in its day to not require catalytic converters or masses of vacuum hoses.
