My Dad's cousin was picked up by the Army in 2003 based on suspicion and he never returned home. No one took responsibility for his disappearance. It is also sad that our three generations have served in the Army and yet something like that happened to our family.

So horrible 😮my grandfather who is no more once saved an ulfa man entered suddenly into our house he was fearing about his life as army personnel were searching for him in the village . Sensing about the seriousness of the situation my grandfather gave him a dhoti and instructed to act as his son and also the other members of the family to act . Little later army personnel entered and questioned about who's who and exit to ask the neighbours about the boy. Meanwhile the boy fled from the back of our house and vanished in the dark. Really a chilling incident and we can imagine the situation of Assam at that time 😮

There are my atrocities incidents in Assam which people are not aware of . Even I am not aware of. I am aware of the secret killings because my father was of the victims . And I never really thought of bringing this topic in front of public . I was happy making travel content . But being a youtuber I always thought of showing good stories to my audience . My fathers case has potential. I always wanted to share what happened with my father . Once I shared the stories people started liking it and they wanted to know more . And these are real life sad incidents. People could relate . Hence , I am continuing this series .

I remember listening to my relatives talk about this exact phase. How in the middle of night the young adolescent boys would run and hide in the tea gardens near our ancestral home.
