Agreed! I have an acquaintance who happened to spend an afternoon there about a year ago, and he said he literally shit his pants that day. Out of the blue he heard a "loud" whisper calling his name, and when they were deeper into the forest there was this smell of sulfur. Also he noticed his heartbeat was irregular the whole time, something he never experienced before (he's healthy). I don't think people talk enough about that place, something seriously wrong happened there that brought on the region this low vibration/evil energy. Great video!!!

One of the most notorious legends surrounding Castle Houska is that it was constructed over a large, deep hole believed to be a portal to Hell. This pit is said to be inhabited by demons and other malevolent spirits. To prevent these evil forces from escaping into the world, the castle was built to seal the portal, effectively containing the horrors that lay below.

Regarding "left handedness", in magic left hand path is the path of evil if I'm not mistaking. Meaning, that magic can be used for good, as well as for evil. There's for example a song made by the Symphonic Deathcore band Mental Cruelty called "Left hand path" that made me curious and looked it up, and that's how I found out about it. Excerpt from Wiki: This terminology is used by various groups involved in the occult and ceremonial magic. In some definitions, the left-hand path is equated with malicious black magic, while the right-hand path is equated with benevolent white magic.
@TheTapeLibrary5 ай бұрын
From my (admittedly limited) understanding, the left hand path isn't necessarily evil. Its more focused on aiding the practitioner rather than the right hand path which is more focused on helping others and generally being benevolent. So not strictly evil, but more likely to be used for bad reasons due to the potential focus on personal gain.

@@TheTapeLibrary Thanks for your input, Wikipedia is by no means a reliable source of information, but I read the same at some forum thread so I was content it was right. Now when I have your attention, I'd like to thank you for all the great stories on your channel, I hadn't heard about this one before. Its interesting but occult symbolism is still alive and well today in the West, however its far less obvious. For example, some of Washington DC's and Paris' main streets are laid out in a pentagram shape. Capitol Hill and its grounds (when viewed from above) take the shape of an owl; this US secret symbolism is also reinforced by a tiny owl hidden in the US dollar bill. Many of NASA's spacecraft are named after Egyptian gods. All of this shows that occult symbolism is still alive and in use today by the shadowy powers that be.

This is, of course, a bit of intriguing speculation, but tesseracts are supposed to be able to facilitate some sort of time travel, if you're into quantum physics. (I'm not very well versed in such things.) But it would explain the time slips in some fashion. Still, very interesting stories.

The fact that it was limestone explains the bottomless nature of the pit: sinkholes form in limestone because years of rain actually slowly dissolve the rock. It's very common for sinkholes to go so far down, and be so dangerous, that people can't find the bottom.

I absolutely love your videos man! Im a huge fan of this type of content, unfortunately there's alot of overlap between similar channels doing the same story, but you manage to find stuff ive never heard about or that nobody else has made a video about! You keep pumping out the awesome content and I'll keep watching, I promise you that! Much love my friend, toodles! 😂

I really enjoy your approach to these topics. You share all sides without being biased. You also have a very pleasant voice. Do you have other channels?

Very interesting story! I've never heard of this castle or the history of this area. It sounds like a fascinating place and I'd love to visit one day.

This reminds me of two great movies, Hellhole and The Devil's Rock. HIGHLY suggest a watch of both, however Hellhole is dubbed in English

Massive horror fan here but actually haven't seen either of these! I feel like I read that The Keep was inspired by it, although I might be mixing that up with another story i covered.

I can hear that blacksmith now, "Magic bullets? Uh, sure! Yeah, I know this awesome prayer, guaranteed to produce bullets that will kill that guy- I mean, devil! Yeah, they'll even kill the Devil if you can sight him!"

Enjoyed this one, bud! Never heard of this story before, usually stories are from UK and USA but not a lot from mainland Europe. I've played thus 2 times already, the last ones I did that with were the Wales one, and the UFO UK with the American witnesses story. Love those, cheers!

glad you are enjoying them! Want to try and cover a wide range of countries when I can (my shorter stories are definitely a bit more far reaching)

I love hearing about Houska... It is a supremely spooky and intriguing place. I wish somebody would do a proper excavation there and see whether or not there actually is an unusually deep pit below the building. That much of the mystery at least should be confirmable or deniable conclusively. Ah, well. Perhaps in another lifetime?
