Can we take a moment to appreciate the audio engineer? This mix is just... euphoric. The way Faris's voice seems to be coming from some sort of non-distinct, almost unearthly source that spreads outward from the right, then across both speakers? The bass, sounding almost like waves or gusts of wind? Multiple tracks of the keyboard coming from multiple directions? It's amazing. ...It probably also helps that the first time I heard the song I was on a plane, leaving home to move to a new state on the other side of the country... So I might be biased.

First heard this song on the radio at a job I hated, after a cold breakup with a great girl, with no other friends, and my family moving away. This song spoke to me then. I was depressed and very lonely, and the lyrics made my heart sink while the sound healed me, as I served heartless older people stupid drinks they didn't need. Not long after, I quit and moved over 1,000 miles away. Very bittersweet memories for an awesome track
