Tuguegarao City, Cagayan Valley is a VERY HOT PLACE (literally it has the hottest temperature ever recorded in the Philippines). But, turns out this city is also a very "cool place" to explore!
In this video you will see my Half Filipino-British Friend JunJun and I exploring the city, eating Pancit Batil Patong, Riding the local transport, checking out a big bridge and baroque style church, and heading out away from the city to Callao Cave!

The disadvantage of being tall! 😀😁😂 i would fit perfectly on that bed, just the right size for me.. It is indeed hot in Tuguegarao. Been there once and i always use umbrella.. My friends keeps on laughing at me but idc, I'm from a cold place so the heat really bothers me a lot! That "shouldn't have used plastic cups" made me smile.. Please (if possible) always include in your videos about not using plastics. Especially those non recyclable plastics like plastic straws, (i know you don't use them) but people admires you a lot, so maybe they'll listen to you..😃 Thank you!

Antonietta Abiera There's a lot of biodegradable straws like paper straws. Or if you want you can use bamboo straw just like Kulas, there's stainless steel straws in the market. Bamboo straws and stainless steel straws are reusable.. I always keep a paper straw in my bag, but most of the time i just drink straight from the cup or bottle. I also have a stainless spoon and fork so i don't have to use those plastic spoon and fork everytime i ate in a fastfood restaurant. There are many ways for us to limit the use of plastic, so please join us.. 😊

Kyle, Thank you for allowing me to reminisce my childhood days in Tugue! I didn't even realize you went to my hometown!! How exciting! There's not too many videos of Tugue around youtube. You guys rode a kalesa (horse drawn carriage). Tugue is known for it's panciterias maybe try the longganisa if you get a next time. Glad you got to try out batil patong konsu zigu (with soup) with fresh miki! Mangan Teran! Kumattam! Mangan Tayon! YASSSS! represent Itawit! Ibanak and Ilocano! ^_^ I grew up in the Baranggay Ugac Sur next to Buntun bridge! Also awesome you guys got to explore Callao Caves! If you're ever there again, now you can say "Napapatu/Nafafatu bitu taw - Ang init naman dito" - It's so hot in here. Thanks guys!

I always feel bad for the horses there. They are the size of dogs in Canada and they pull loads in very hot temperatures. We rented a ride on a wagon pulled by a caribao and the wagon it pulled was huge. On a positive note about every week they were taken off duty for a week to lay around in a mud bath. I really miss the Philippines. I am over due for a trip there.
