I was at Kurt Cobain's house the other day. There was always at least 4-6 people at the park next to it. It was a random weekday too. There must be a hundred people a day that stop by. Crazy.

The only two TV/movie homes I've ever gotten close to were the home from FULL HOUSE and the apartment building in SLC where the blind kid was petting the dead bird in DUMB AND DUMBER. I didn't go out of my way to see them. For the FH house, I just looked at it from Alamo Park, the same park from the opening credits. For the DUMB AND DUMBER apartments, I lived, for a short time, about 4 blocks away from it. So, once in a while, I'd pass by it while doing my errands. I hope this doc will also be on the free streaming services that have the MAXIMUM EFFORT channel.

Wasn't it disclosed to the buyer that house they want to buy is famous? Some people have fun with it , others are mean/angry. I can understand the anger when people are disrespectful. Like people throwing pizzas on the roof of Walter White's house. Just stop, take pictures and move on.

The house may not be "famous" when they bought it. interesting show. Plenty of websites exist on filming locations, and documentaries made, but a show is interesting. I would like to see details on the "Mr. Mom" house. I found building estimation plans for an almost identical Cape Cod style house offered in a newspaper ad decades ago, but I lost them in a move.

Pretty sure the owners added one to mimic the movie as closely as possible. The actual interior of the house was used, but I believe the basement was a set.

That was the Goonies house in Astoria, Oregon. Near where I live. Fortunately "Karen" finally sold and moved out and the new owners are VERY Goonies friendly!

Good luck finding Jerry Seinfeld's apartment, although you can gaze at the exterior of Tom's Restaurant on the corner of West 112th Street and Broadway to your heart's content.
