I priced out a build with an E5-1650 V4 and a 3060 for $250 the other day. Building a PC isn't rocket science and there are some great hardware deals on the used market. There is free and very cheap hardware out there you can use for retro gaming. You can have a PC that can run new AAA releases for $250.

I just got a hp pro desk with i7 6700 3.4 Ghz off facebook last week for $30 even has graphics card lower end but I just use it as my batocera pc I did a 1 GB build on ssd.runs ps2 n xbox great!!!I follow your channel n have got great info keep up good content bro.i was using Lenovo m93 mini pc with i5 it's no slouch when comes to batocera but great little pc got $60 on ebay a year ago.i followed your tutorial on ps3 on batocera but it wont work at least on m93.😮

I’m trying to build my own arcade cabinet. I have a a hard drive collection, but I’m not sure what’s the cheapest and efficient computer. Would you recommend this computer? I do have modern game titles I want to run too (like street of rage 4 and MK11). with Wii U and switch as well. Appreciate your content.
