The Boderry Strom is an exciting Skeletonized Affordable Automatic Watch from the Chinese brand Boderry, featuring a square titanium case and a three-hand High Beat 4hz 28800 VPH Movement made by the Hangzhou watch company, and a curved sapphire crystal, especially for this watch (no hacking).
This watch has a unique design, it's not a homage, but it borrows ques from the Cartier Santos and some of the Skeletonized work from brands under the LVMH group like Zenith and Hublot.
Not a tool watch, not a dress watch, what is it?

I'm not sure how to enhance the power reserve other than making sure the watch is fully wound My experience as far as accuracy goes was between 10 to 15 seconds a day I hope this is helpful. Thank you for your excellent comment 🙏🏼

Nice review! This watch has been on my radar screen since it came out. I haven't pulled the trigger yet but I'm sure I will in the future. I like hacking but it's not a deal breaker. The accuracy is completely acceptable to me. For the price, I think it's well worth the money.

Pretty cool watch but looks like they could improve it further. I don't think hacking and handwinding matters at all on a piece like this. Looks great on you. I think they should paint the whole minute and hour hands white so it can be readable against the skeleton background.

I couldn't agree more. If the hands had more lume area, that would be similar to painting them white. I also believe that if the hands had a satin or brushed finish, that would help, too All the reflections on the hands make things harder to read 😆 Thank you so much for commenting. Wow, no hacking is a bad move by Boderry. Especially when you consider their Urban and Windmill have similar specs with hacking for much less. I was convinced the movement was another Hangzhou 7500 from the Urban/Windmill. Too bad.

Very complete review. Though it's definitely a RM inspired watch more than any other brand ;) Impressive specs for the price, though I have no clue about the durability of the movement. Yet I would definitely wear it for fun if I had the wrist for it.

If you install the buckle the right way the watch will not fall out of your wrist. In addition, you forgot to mention that the watch has three sides’ view: the front, the back and the left side, since it comes with three Safire crystals. Moreover, this watch is self-winding hence it has no option to wind it. Just wear it and forget it. Good video though.

Solid review. But you were quite negetive about time accuracy. I think for a skeleton the accuracy is 'decent to really good' for the price. You can get this watch under 300 bucks. I have many movements and skeleton movements, the skeleton I own from Boderry (not this one) feels very solid and after years it's been a reliable mechical watch for me. Just don't compare those couple of seconds to a pride and proven nh35 or something. If you want true accuracy.. simple.. quartz. I see these skeletons as time keepers but also a bit of funky jewelry 🙂 I think I own mine for 2 years, zero problems. I do think you need a bigger than average wrist for this one though..

This skeleton watch, in particular, is a very cool and funky jewelry-like accessory And having an 8-inch wrist like mine really helps pull the whole thing off 😂 I apologize if I came across as negative about the accuracy; while this watch is not nearly as accurate as some of my other mechanical watches, I would like to point out that it is “good enough” for its purpose Thanks for taking the time to comment. Mine is still working okay I haven't heard much bad news about these guys in particular, but Aliexpress brands are always a bit of a coin-toss Let me know if you do end up getting one and if you have any issues with it 🍺

Thats goot to know, I read a few reviews on trust pilot of the movements stopping suddenly and the watches having to be sent back, but when it gets to Chinese customs the company wont pay the release fee and stop responding to peoples emails. Doesnt sound inspiring for a watch brand that gives 24 months warranty on the internals of the watch. At €270 it would want to be a little more than a coin--toss if you get me. Ciga design is a higher quality watch from China. China, like most manufacturing centers has different levels of quality they are capable of. They make damn good watches
