FOR EVERYONE SAYING THE VOCALS SUCK This band is very heavily math related and unlike playing songs like most bands do(4/4), they play at different meters and such(7/8, 11/8, etc). This band is extremely mathematical, technical and talent. I have seen people commenting on the singer not knowing singing queues...they made the song; I am pretty sure they knew they were making the song in a different meter. As for his screams sucking, I like them! THA is amazing for every member and their style.

The Album Nocturne by The Human Abstract is one of my favorite albums of all time. It mixes metal-core and neo-classical so perfectly it bitch-slaps you dead in the face. With blazing fast riffs and lightning sweeps, the dual guitarists are true virtuosos. They brought a refreshing gasp of air to the dying metal scene. If I heard another chug riff, blast-beat, grindcore riff, or a ridiculous break-down I was going to give up on new-music for awhile. Give Nocturne a chance, it will grow on you.

my friend says he loves the human abstract, as i do, but hates btbam and monuments and periphery and animals as leaders and erra and veil of maya... "because they use cut-beats and sound all choppy". ......how do i tell him he's dumb?
@TheLastAbacus8 жыл бұрын
He's not dumb, he's right. AAL is the worst offender of sounding too technical for the ear to even enjoy, that over-produced and unnatural sound which robs music of the ability to reach us on a more human level.

I'd like to chime in, however I wouldn't say "they're bad" just that I prefer THA because of how apparent their classical element is. Like in the midst of chaos there's this serenity going on that makes you feel at peace, and then you go back to headbanging.
