Esma’s reactions doing this thing is so funny she keeps on being surprised at what’s happening she is jumping off of different parts of the building. And she is gasping because she’s shocked at what’s happening she is scared and excited. during this entire scene that’s literally what she’s doing. And Quasimodo is not afraid to show his strengths and weaknesses and emotions. When he’s around her that’s what I love about Quasimodo. And I love how Esmeralda so brave and fiery but he is more gentle and timid she goes for it or he hesitates they just go together. Esmeralda has a fiery voice Quasimodo a soft one. Don’t hesitate to the opportunities but Esmeralda goes for it right away. well Quasimodo is not sure about it. They go together quite well I think they should end up with each other in the end of the movie.

Honestly, I never realized how faultlessly polite Phoebus is: Asks a simple question, nearly gets his face burned off, then gets hoisted off of his feet by someone who looks ready to kill him, but he still remembers to say "please" when asking Quasi to put him down. Then he tells Quasi in no uncertain terms that he's a good friend to Esmeralda. All without a single bit of judgement for Quasi being different. (In fact, iirc Phoebus wanted to stop the crowd throwing fruit at Quasi after the Feats of Fools.) As a kid, I always thought he got Esmeralda because he's handsome. Now I realize that his looks have absolutely nothing to do with why Esmeralda fell for him.

Which is a big part of why I prefer the movie’s version of Phoebus hands-down. In the original novel he was a certified A-hole who tried to seduce Esmeralda (who is only 15 years old in the novel) only to leave her to be framed and executed for his attempted murder afterwards.

As far as Disney villains go, not only is Frollo realistic but he is way ahead of his time. I say this is because he is what you might call an incel. Long before Hal Stewart from Megamind entered the picture, Frollo took the cake in terms of inceldom, granted he’s one with unfathomable power over the people of Paris and is extremely wrathful and hateful towards others. 1. He has an unhealthy obsession over a young woman (Esmeralda) yet he hates her at the same time (which makes him complex) 2. He becomes angry when she doesn’t return his affections/submit to his authority, causing him to burn down the city and her eventually. 3. Sexually harasses Esmeralda by groping her while inside Notre Dame. Just to name a couple of examples

It wasn't Esmeralda's fault that she fallen inlove with Phoebus instead of Quasimodo and she never said or hinted that she liked Quasi anyways. Quasimodo just had the expectation after being convinced by the Gargoyles, you can't blame them though because they were just being supportive to their friend and Quasimodo never actually known true affection and mistook Esmeralda's gratitude for romantic feelings. All in all, Quasimodo is still a chad and took that like a boss and still helped them from being killed by the Simp lord, Claude Frollo

Second Quasimodo's and Phoebus feelings are equaly valid. In fact Phoebus is attracted to her from the start and Quasimodo falls in love with her AFTER she flirts with him and gives him a kiss on the cheek. Yes Quasi is more shy but as evidant above she don't mind. Both Pohebus an Quasi admire her and both risk their life for her. Esmeralda just so happen to fall for the more handsome guy which is tad contradicts the movies message by making it more shallow. There is nothing wrong with her wanting to be with Quasi unless one is team Frollo.
