I'm not sure what the point is if you're not even going to give a show or movie a chance. I've enjoyed a number of your other reactions, but the obvious disinterest from the very beginning and the constant flow of sarcastic and often juvenile comments got real old real quick on this one. There's certainly some legitimate criticisms you could have of this movie (the weakest in the series IMO), but again, I don't really get the point of watching something new and having a reaction channel if you're going to come into a given film or series not with an open mind, but determined to hate it. Anyway, just some (what I hope will be taken as) constructive criticism.
@mayaandgareth4 ай бұрын
@@TrentRidley I think the point is that we had fun watching it together even though we didn't end up enjoying the film, Maya went in to it thinking she would enjoy it, but sadly we both were left wishing we found it more enjoyable. But that's the adventure of watching films together, not every movie is going to rock our world and I'd rather that we react as honestly as possible even if that means we occasionally hate on something. Our sense of humour is terrible...we have no excuses for that :)

You said what I was thinking when I watched this. The disinterest was obvious and while I watched all of it because they did make some good points, most of the time I was THAT close to leaving. I think they might be interesting reactors if they liked the movie, but I'll probably not bother watching in the future. There's plenty of other reactors out there.

the highlight was watching that sympathic young guy nibbles his popcorrn first and plugs it into his mouth with both hands later. And his "thank you brother for sacrificing you.... can I have your car, than?" says it all about his character. Not bad.... for an Ami....

I am not going to watch whole reaction really awful. I've seen plenty of reactions from Scots so it's not that. It seems to just be you. Glad you aren't going to watch the rest. I don't think you have the ability to understand what the books were written for and published by Scholastic Books to teach about politics and war. Your inability to understand what the theme of the story means you are terribly interesting.
@mayaandgareth3 ай бұрын
@@gailseatonhumbert I think it's more that we just didn't connect with portrayal of this story, and rather than pretending that i did I gave it as honest of a reaction as possible...whilst still trying to make my daughter laugh :) I know from my point of view the filming making and editing was of a much lower standard than I was expecting. Having never read the books myself I took this as a standalone viewing experience. The themes of this movie have been better represented in many other works of art, seeing them regurgitated in this movie with all the craft and care given to a fart in a cupped hand was an altogether deflating experience...Lenny Kravitz though....what a guy.

I thought you were hilarious, and this is from someone who loves these movies. I especially enjoyed how tortured Gareth was by the end. I would say that the technical side of things gets better in the next 2, the editing is a lot less choppy and overall the filmmaking is a big step up. I would love to see your take on the others... especially if you hate it😂🎉
