BIG WARNING! Do not watch the remastered version. A quick google search will tell you which streaming service has the OG. The remastered messes with the lighting and framing of the shots, so I’d avoid that version. Love this show. Just found y’all’s channel and lo and behold ya start watching a classic. Since you’ve already seen it, I’m sure you know what to tell her about season 1. The show really takes it to the next level after season 1, but nonetheless I think the first season is fun. I’ve seen many Buffy reactors. They tend to be the same type of demographic, so their opinions tend to be similar. Will be interesting to have y’all compare and contrast. Hope y’all are doing five by five.

The reason the vampires are so ugly is because Joss Whedon didn’t want Buffy killing normal looking people every week. Also the reason they decided to have the vampires turn to dust is because they didn’t want Buffy and the gang to have to deal with a bunch of dead bodies every episode.

Welcome back to 'The Buffyverse'. You have chosen one of the greatest shows of all time. The way this series develops over the seven series is incredible, it has everything, life, love, lust, friendship, betrayal, heartbreak grief and joy, with brilliant characters, storylines and meaningful life metaphors, and fantastic comedy also. The show has everything you will love it. S1 of BTVS is a bit cheesy due to low budget etc but you will see it improving leaps and bounds from S2 onwards. An amazing show. This show just seems to be more popular than ever, with so many young people switching on to it and being blown away by how brilliant it is. Enjoy your viewing you will love it.

"I like her dress"...Maya has seen the softer side of Sears. SMG was born to play Buffy. Every fan will tell you that S1 has weak moments. Just remember that it was an 11 episode mid-season replacement filmed on spec with a shoestring budget and a largely unknown cast and crew. Really, S1 mainly suffers only in comparison to what comes next. Great things lie ahead

Thank you. G. I don't think M is completely convinced by you about Jesse, may be you should point out how he becomes possessed later and and uses his supernatural powers to help fight vampires? Trivia: I have no idea if either of you are Blondie fans, but, I am convinced that the Buffy theme intro was "inspired" by the intro to Blondie's "Fade away and Radiate." The only thing is I may be somewhat tone deaf.

This is probably one of the worst fantasy adaptations in existence. Disney made justice with their nice little tv show (even if they made it a bit slow on the action parts, but at least they worked with the author himself). Here the author personally told what will go bad. He wasn’t wrong. These two are the lowest rated movies of their type. Recommendation: One Piece if you didn’t watch it yet together. The second season is coming soon. Also Sandman.

Every time I watch this movie and batman hits crane with his own hallucinogens batman always reminds me of the creeper from the jeepers creepers when we see cranes perspective of him.

My favourite film in the Batman series was batman and Robin because it brought a realism and seriousness to the Batman films that had been sadly lacking...Oh...wait...no...that was Batman Begins. I always get them mixed up.

Rachel did what you do when you love someone and they're about to be selfish and do something that is going to take them away from you. He was going to go to prison for years if he shot Chill, with no guarantee he'd make it back out alive. Rachel's hurt that he cared more about killing Chill and revenge than her and Alfred manifested in anger, and is a real human response and entirely understandable.

That "nice coat" guy also starred opposite another Batman (Val Kilmer) in 1997's The Saint. It's a fun and cheesy spy flick you might try on yer channel.
