Beautiful emotion conveyed, Eoin! At the start I thought it was very Vinnie Jones & woods part in his autobiography... then it turned into a little 'Of Mice or Men'. By the end your in tears, anyone who has lost a dog can always remeber that last walk. And the boy's face at the end :(

My brother and his dog wound up in similar circumstances for similar reasons. It's a tragic thing all ways round. Well portrayed as I realized what was going to happen right before it did. Kept watching anyway, hoping I was wrong, realizing more and more that I wasn't. Nicely done.

Thought about it & slept on it: (once) loved 'dogs' which have to be killed because they have turned destructive seem to be one of your recurrent themes, from Christian Blake to Morgana and Mordred. (Yes, I know 'Of Mice and Men' it's a great (and sad) story.)
