Freya went mad after speaking the spell engraved in the mirror, she invoked Ravenna. *And from that moment on she began having an internal conflict: Ravenna and Freya were both using Freyas body (her vessel) and the scenes are cryptic* Ravenna appearing out of nowhere, telling Eric she missed him, and he made a weird face. All her soldiers making faces when she was delivering her speech, etc. In other words; why is the queen speaking in different voices and acting differently? Ravenna was possessing Freya.

What I like about THIS mirror is what he said to the snow Queen’s sister: “I ask nothing. I am, but a reflection…and YOU have already decided.” The mirror is merrily exactly what it says. It is a reflection that takes form and tells whom ever summons them. She has no else to blame but herself, and I think the mirror knew by then just how evil of beauty this woman was hiding. It’s bad enough that she made her sister lose her husband, but making HIM do the dirty work, killing her sister’s baby and letting him take the fall for her.

The Florence and the Machine song from the first movie, "Breath of Life", also goes along well with her speech here. She started out wanting to be a good and fair queen to her people, as well as being a loving and loved wife and mother. But her heart had become so dark with evil and self-love that she was beyond redemption. She was even deluded to think that her actions were part of a "higher/divine calling". So she basically said to herself: "I might just as well be the most beautiful queen the world has ever known, as well as the most evil."

They wasted Emily. The sisters should of had a epic battle but what we got was not that at all.

I would pay it they made a remake of both the mirror and Freya and a better battle there's no way Freya would have lost so easily I also love how she protected her children against the mirror

Actually in this movie we can understand the true nature of the Mirror... a artefact that makes you powerful... but slowly will consume you with vanity madness... from time to time the mirror will announce one would be prettier than you... and it will make you commit horrible murders or else your powers will start to weaken... a very dark artefact indeed
@gameguild23962 жыл бұрын
I kinda think the opposite. Not saying your take is less valid, just my opinion. The mirror itself says 'i am nothing' and clarifies that it's nothing more than an echoing chamber that simply reflects what people are. Perhaps it's the fact that only vain and cruel people are able to get a hold of people that this keeps happening. I wonder if the mirror itself is sick and tired of all the bullshit it's been forced to look back at. He certainly sounds like it.

The darkness was inside her all along is speaks of how vanity being one of the 7 sins can overcome somebody and cloud ones judgement to the point of no return.

Well someone clearly wasn't paying attention to the movies if that's your take on it.

Funny how Jessica Chastain (Sara) portrayed her role pretty well as an adoptive daughter of Freya when in fact Emily Blunt is way younger than her in real life 😂

The only thing that frustrates me about this film is the fact that the snow Queen did not survive. She could have Changed And done some good again. Plus emily blunt played the hell out of that role and she deserved to survive.

With this movie, the only two things that I wished were that the story focused more on the sisters and the second thing is showcasing the Ice queen’s powers. I feel like she could have put up WAYYY more of a fight against Ravenna.
