Update: She's still alive. She made a long winded post about being close to ending it but then she saw some kids and decided not to and admitted herself to a mental hospital. She plans on not coming back to the internet for a couple of years if at all and has said she's getting help on her attraction to children. She wants people to forget her and says what she thought were her beliefs were actually serious medical problems and no longer wants people to call her mom or mommy. I learned about Sappho from watching "why would you post this?" by Noel Miller and decided to watch this video with my sister. We legit had to pause every 5 seconds just to read all the tweets or just sit there in shock. I'm usually not one to armchair diagnose, but for someone who uses therapies like hypnosis to exploit vulnerable children, I'll make an exception. From everything I've learned in this video, such as her difficult home life leading her to seek comfort and love from her two dogs, it seems like her zoophilia is a response to trauma, and can't be compared (like she tried to do) to a pre-determined orientation like homosexuality. Second, her obsession with being a "mommy" figure to the teens in her community (which is soooo goddamn weird, like girl you're 21), could very much be related to her receiving a lack of care and empathy from her own parental figure(s), and attempting to live out the fantasy of a loving family life. The most likely explanation to me (again, while having no real knowledge of her home life) is that familial love and sexual attraction were intermingled in her household or from someone she observed, and that now influences the way that she experiences any kind of familial love. One last note, I've been in intensive outpatient therapy and know multiple people who have been or are currently in inpatient facilities. Even if they do allow phones, no one I know shows off their time in the hospital. Usually people just stop posting for a couple weeks or months, come back and make an update post, and leave it at that. She definitely needs the help, but the constant posting of the facility name and the pills she's taking and what disorder she has just seems like she's more focused on the attention and proving to people that she's "getting help", rather than fully committing to her treatment. The same goes for her "goodbye" post. Uploading all the pictures of herself in the truck with the gun makes me believe that she likely didn't go through with it. Someone who wants to hurt or kill themselves (I've been in the former camp) doesn't feel like they have anything to prove because their death is the proof. So for her to show all this screams "look at me! You caused this! Pity me!" It feels harsh to even say that, but the evidence of her previous actions and posts points in that direction.

It definitely sounds like she has deep routed traumas that have taken her possibly predisposed “interests” in.. questionable individuals or kick started them and then built up walls around them over years and years now to justify them. The *closests* i can understand for her connection to animals is that id imagine its somewhat similar to how my autism has made me more connected emotionally with animals than people ( not in a sexual or romantic way, but i view animals on a higher standard than humans because of their kindness and compassion and such) because abusive situations from humans my entire childhood i could not understand while having the never revoked compassion from animals and pets makes me more connected with them emotionally. Id imagine her trauma caused her to also view the kindness and innocence of animals on a higher standard than humans due to her experiences, and possibly the same with children, but it continued to spiral and caused her to begin to feel that the ONLY proper connections she could ever have INCLUDING romantic and sexual ones will also come from animals, and her specific preferences probably stem from those specific animals or people of those specific age groups being a direct correspondence to that of those who brought her that connection or happiness during the timeline of her trauma being active. At the end of the day, being attracted to minors and animals stems from deep rooted mental health issues and not from being a choice or something people are or are born as (in my opinion on the second part) and those with these issues need help. They need therapy and help unpacking the trauma and help unlearning these attractions. If she doesnt do it soon, shes going to end up in much more severe trouble than shes been in now. Allegedly shes confirmed she is alive and is getting help, and has confirmed that she is now aware that her attractions ARE due to mental health difficulties and are not opinions like she believed and is getting help to unlearn these things, but as much as I hope shes being honest shes shown herself to be enough of a liar that it could very much be her trying to save her own ass

The scariest thing about these zoos is that one of the most difficult parts of being a pet parent is that they can’t tell us what’s wrong. It could be happening and the animal can’t do anything unless their owner is caught. We teach them to tell us when they need food or to go outside or play… but it’s harder to tell when they’re letting us know *what’s wrong.* The same way kids can’t consent because they’re not physically developed enough and could physically or mentally be hurt because they don’t understand the consequences, animals are not developed to …interact …that way with HUMANS. Honestly though, it's not like every individual who's attracted to children or animals has attempted to do just that, initiate. Some understand the border you shouldn't cross and do seek help. Some fight the urges without help out of fear of being labeled or treated unfairly before ever committing a crime. That's one reason why governments and police aren't able to detain individuals who commit mass shootings and so forth. Simple acts that are seen as odd doesn't merit police involvement when a crime has yet to be done. Just report on it and move on if someone is concerned about illegal activities. I would argue that you shouldn't block them, because you need as much proof as possible to report to the authorities if you need to. Arguing with them is definitely useless, but these people are quite clearly a danger to other living creatures so if you feel up to it, watch them and be ready to contact the authorities if necessary. Being attracted to animals isn't a "morally grey" area because there's no morality to it. It's DEFINITELY not "morally grey" to have sex with animals. as someone into hypnosis as a kink, insanity of the hypnotist is very dependent on site and is generally easy to avoid since the real ones actually care about their sub(s)'s consent and boundaries to NEVER cross and will actually spend the time to get to know you before the first session even happens to make sure you are right for each other's wants and desires, it's not like in movies or games where it happens instantly and makes you do horrible things

Regarding number 1, definitely not! And there's also Amanugai for VR Chat. I for my part had no idea this person (the one in the video) existed until today/just now and have been a fan of hypnosis etc. since I was rather young. But omg, this is a big yikes. And it puts even more bad rep and all that on the stuff or makes it seem like a manipulation and mind control tool, which couldn't be further from the truth :/ Sorry everyone got such a bad impression of it again from this. And again, luckily, consent is extremely big in the hypnosis and even NFSW and fetish community and all the stuff that exists with hypnosis. So no worries (I guess). But it's still rather important to get to know someone at least a bit or go to a professional when it comes to hypnosis. In all due honesty, I've chosen to err on the side of caution regarding Sappho. Given her pattern of behavior and the fact that she's more than willing to use a self deletion attempt as a cover story, I wouldn't be surprised if they're just waiting for the dust to settle before coming back with a new alias. Though, with that being said... I sincerely hope I'm wrong in making that previous assumption. Don't get me wrong; I'm not the sort to go around wishing death upon others. I'm simply hoping for the lesser of two evils to be the true outcome.

@@anitaremenarova6662 If only it were that simple. With the advent of VPNs and Sappho's own tendencies, an IP ban wouldn't really hold out as a long term solution. Ideally, the best result would be seeing her sentenced for the crimes she committed. Though, that outcome is dependent on Sappho still being alive to stand trial. Hence the obvious problem. When I said it was the "lesser of two evils", I was going off what we currently know about the situation. Whilst I would rather see her rotting in a prison cell for what she's done, if she's truly departed then she's of no harm to anyone (outside of others like her trying to use her as a martyr). Based on the current circumstances, I would argue that it's a better alternative to having her lie in wait for yet another opportunity to start seeding more youths with her twisted ideology and corrupting influence. Brand me a villain if you wish, but I'm thinking we should focus more on safeguarding the next generation from self identified monsters like Sappho and her ilk; hence my lack of empathy towards their "death". Obviously I'm not convinced they're actually deceased.

I remember at the time that Sappho came out, I was furious at her for what she said for 2 reasons: One, well, hurting animals. Two, she was dating an ex friend at the time, and was known as his partner, and when she came out what she did ruined his reputation by proxy. Of course he broke up with her, I blocked her ass in the game, but because he was associated with Sappho, his side thing was ruined. It was a hell of a situation to discuss with friends.

Thing I have with zoophiles is that even if animals COULD consent, hypothetically...that would still be an abusive relationship if they wanna compare it to human relationships. Adopt a dog, you own that animal. You can't own a partner like that without it being abusive. Adopt a puppy, you're grooming a puppy into a sexual and romantic relationship. Aka 'pedophilia and grooming'. These animals have no way to support themselves physically, financially, etc and to leave the so called "relationship". @@fresanegra77 I don't mind! They are suppose to be a "Yokai", a supernatural creature or ghost from Japan, though they live in their own fictional planet called Imia. The main design that people tend like about them is their second skin that looks like a hoodie, bird feet, and their cat like face. The hoodies can be anything the artist wants, from pill bug theme to astronaut/space theme and beyond. They are a closed species, meaning to get an official one you'd have to buy or join a raffle/contest, but the creator seems fine with derivatives or off brands, they just wont be registered in the "masterlist", a place to keep track of all the official impin creations. At the moment, bare bones its like a trading/art club on Discord and DeviantArt, but the creator said that they wanted to put them in a ARPG someday. I hope this helps!
