I'm a local to this area and have spent time building and riding these trails. This dirt jump spot is called I-Street. So nice to see you appreciate our stuff, even though it's scrappy and worn down.

Yeah, it’s a sick spot. Where I started riding our local jumps would always get plowed and it was a constant battle. I’m still shocked that towns are embracing this stuff these days, it’s great.

So cool that you can show up thousands of miles away from your home base, and within a few minutes people are asking if you're Phil. Looking forward to this week's content!

The ease at which you hit blind trails and jumps is on point, but what’s even cooler is how easy you relate to people. Offering the young man safe advice is what makes you the top in this game. Great stuff. Can’t wait to see MOAB✌️

Such a cool spot! Also I love how responsible of you it was to talk less experienced riders out of dirt jumping.

Hey Hayden, I’m glad to hear you are in doing better. I have no idea what you’re going through or went through but just know that I too have struggled with depression. It’s not fun. I’m sure it hasn’t been easy for you. I’m also I’m happy to hear i could help in some shape, but ultimately it was your mental strength that pulled yourself back up. Don’t discount the small victories. Hope you are doing well!

Dude! Stoked you made it to I street! That place has shaped my biking over the last 3 years. Really awesome to see you riding it blind. Bummed the wind didn’t let up enough to safely hit the big step up on the backside. It’s a really fun jump and you’ve got air time for just about anything on it. Not sure if you’re familiar with Kurtis Downs, but he put in a ton of work building that and has done some really wild stunts on it. Finley Kirschenmann also did a cork 720 on it which was awesome to see in his Commencal edit.

I’m so appreciative of the way you interacted with those kids. You’re such a genuine good person. They say never meet your hero’s, but that’s not true in this case. You totally made those kids day!

Great advice regarding the dirt jumps, back in my noob days I went OTB over a dirt jump on my hardtail trail bike. Riding way above my pay grade at the time, broke 4 bones in my face and worst concussion of my life which I believe still affects me today.

I used to live just a few streets over from here, so this is cool to see. I Street originally wasn't built with permission and it's a great example of the value making jumps official brings to the community instead of destroying them.

I laughed at the comment about wanting to hit all the other features before attempting the step up. I've ridden I-Street several dozen times and I'm not even sure I've laid eyes on every jump. Just when you think you've seen it all you discover a new line somewhere hidden in the scrub oak. it is really a unique place to ride.
