I love that design. I hope they will put it or something a lot like it into production. I would definitely consider it, assuming the production version is a lot like the concept. I want a VW bus that can do the smile on the front. It would make it even cooler and/or cuter.

Let’s see how they go about the updates and facelifts for the Bus! I’m pretty sure this Beetle could have some tweaks here and there, but at the same time, we have no idea if this is the direction they will be heading.

I like the single shape from nose to tail. It out-bugs the beetle, retro yet modern, muscular not weak.

Solidify the doors so they’re not see-thru, put in an opening front section and give it back to being a 4-seater. Everything else seems OK with it (although I do also question the side cameras)

Those long doors won't work inside of most garages. They'd hit something above or next to the car depending on whether they flipped up, like on cartoon version, or if they hinged out. Fun to imagine. And concept car designers have always loved them. Just totally impractical.

I will never get rid of my 2014 R-Line Beetle; it’s my favorite car! Volkswagen should’ve given it way more love. It’s every bit as good (Better) than the GTI in 2014!

I think you have it all backwards! As the first bug with no engine it is an interesting design. It looks more masculine. Finally it is aggressive and looks like it may be a handler. Something boys may buy.

You know, I can find hardly anything about this thing. The thing I hated about the new Beetle and Mini is that they were far too big (especially the mini). I hope that, with the improvement of battery tech, they will be able to make small safe (and not ridiculously slow) electric versions of these cars.

Ahhh I see. No worries! I haven’t yet driven a New Beetle myself, but The Beetle A5 is bigger than the New Beetle in all dimensions by a little bit. I can see how that’s a problem in small spaces. Hopefully they can find a perfect balance between inner space and outer size like they have with the ID.2all. BTW, this channel that I’m starting is covering everything Beetle A5 and every now and then some news of anything Volkswagen like this. I’m glad I could provide some info! If anything else pops up I’ll be sure to cover it!

In my opinion it's ugly. I much prefer my 2017 model better. It looks too much like the previous model that I didn't like it looks like a bubble. It doesn't have the classic Beatle lines.
