zanny, the tripods can be 1-shot with the commando if you shoot the sections of their leg between the main leg and the head. their eye is not a weakpoint, and they're resistant to explosive damage. the normal guard dog got buffed to medium pen and casually headshots the zombies

Do not go for the eye, despite being lvl2 armour it is not a fatal wound and shooting that point just chews through the main health pool unlike when you destroy the hip killing it instantly

Alternatively, if you have a habit of fully completing missions you’ll have more than enough super credits. 8:00 those are faulty pods, you have to use an explosive to open it (a tool tip telling you this should have popped up first time you encountered one, but that’s like day one so people forget sometimes).

Pro tip: the tripod is basically immune to explosive damage. You’re better off using ballistic weapons on the joints. Like the AMR on the leg bits attached to head. It can be downed in 3 shots.

I think the only reason they won't do loadout swaps is how it might handle intentional loadout swapping, ala, you drop your first guy with all your various support item (backpacks and stuff), kill him and drop your second guy with all offensive strats/etc and pick up all your now dropped support items. So your char benefits from like having 8 things in their strat slots or something.

Pummeler SMG with the backpack combat shield thingo is actually really fun vs bots. Shield can take most the fire besides missiles and flames, and pummeler makes them stumble. Those chainsaw dudes can't even get to you I just switch it to semi auto to save ammo it's good fun
