Lords 2024 is a huge improvement from the launch it had. It had a very rough launch but now has had 30+ patches & the game is so different compared to when it came out

Zanny the first actual boss is just a test of parrying. Very easy highly choreographed attacks. Then use a bit of ranged attacks when she flies to do her stay in place for 3 secs moves.

Btw Zan, the Echoes of Battle mechanic that lets you re-fight bosses again is in Sekiro, however it even has different gauntlets you can run with completely unique bosses that aren’t found in base Sekiro, I’d highly recommend it.

The gauntlets are in sekiro, and they give you some cool stuff if you beat them. Unless if you mean base sekiro as in unupdated sekiro because they were technically added in a free update

You can instaswap weapons: - hit normaly then press Y (in xbox) and hit it will change from two hands for one hand - While you care using the lamp press (Lb) you change the lamp for the catalyst or hand - Hit normally then use magic attack your character has + frames and will not stagger - There are 2 parries, the normal one and if you break their stance with the lamp (you also get a different animation) Have fun

Zanny, you'll be happy to know that you can get both boss armor and boss weapons in this game and they are the exact same as the boss themselves in design. If a boss has a cool weapon that you love the design of, you'll be able to get it as your own. Unlike lies of p with the weapon we all wish we could have... 😞

It also has near seamless coop lol. The host just is the only one who can get quest rewards, chests, or hidden items. You can fast travel, complete missions, and level up all in coop.

Parry timing is based on the weapon you use. Medium shields have pretty bad timing but you can block most physical attacks. Daggers have the best parrying but the worst blocking

As a Lords of the Fallen pro at this point, the art direction and lore is the best part of this game. If lore over gameplay is your style, this game is for you. Not to say the gameplay is BAD but some changes to the combat could make it better, especially PvP. The character quests are a mixed bag. Some are perfectly fine in their own right but others are just terrible. There’s this one girl that you have to summon for multiple boss fights for her quest BUT you have to die to the boss at least once before you’re even able to summon anyone. This is problem if you just so happen to first try every single boss, which is pretty much what happened to me. Doing this automatically fails her quest. And then there’s the fact that her quest completely is in combat with another quest for one particular boss fight so you have to pick one or the other.

To anyone who doesn’t enjoy this game because of its difficulty, PLEASE try it with a friend. It feels so much better with a buddy to help out. Turns something that would be hard solo into more of a just and fair challenge. As someone who despises souls-like due to the insane difficulty and lack of mercy, I swear to you this game is amazing and 100% worth it. If you’re still still struggling I recommend using the radiance ground aoe healing spell to top of your health. There’s a rune you can socket into your shield that gives you mana regen meaning that you now how infinite heals so the only way you should die is by fucking up in combat or pushing too far without resting. From a guy who can’t tolerate souls-like games I sincerely give this game an 8/10. It’s only that low due it’s instability at times and the bullshit pvp that allows end game players to invade low level players. A makeshift solution to this is to home screen the game(atleast on Xbox) so you don’t gotta deal with griefers but it still is a massive waste of time, especially if you’re with a friend.
