I'm an illuminatrix girlie and this video makes me feel SO seen and validated in my approach to personal style. It may not always align with my perfect color season or lines or specific tool in the toolbox but it makes me feel like a million dollars and other people notice and compliment me for it. I think one of the things you didn't go into as much in this video which is a big component for my dressing is having a theme, a story, a concept or idea that I'm excited to explore visually through fashion. Most people will never know or understand my why's and that's perfectly fine, just knowing it's there for me makes my day.

I am happy that you talked about this archetype just now because recently i had an uhm.... epiphany (ok, that's a bit dramatic). But truly, i was at a workshop about leadership skills and it was kind of therapeutic. At one point everyone got 100 cards with a single value on each. Like family, ambition, fairness, health, trust...... and we should pick the 20 most important values to us. Then it was 'make it ten' and finally 'what are your 3 core values'? And i watched myself in the progress and saw how i eliminated things like joy and curiosity just to be left with values that make me the most responsible and reliable but not very interesting person. And there are good reasons why i completly shifted into this direction over the past years, but deep down i am not happy with it. It's not me anymore. So i made the decision to claim joy back into my life. I think the Maincharacter is my archetype, but i will lean a bit more into Illuminatrix too

I did that exercise but we got to choose 5 values and it helped me understand my style. My values are authenticity, community, confidence, bravery, knowledge.

It's so exciting that you are back making videos🎉. I hope that your maternity leave is going well. I have been using your system for almost a year now and even though I am not 100% sure where I am (potentially RU the Princess) I have found it incredibly useful. That’s okay! Right down is most common in one of my communities too but I have a group of friends where the 2 up quadrants are most common! There’s nothing wrong with a popular look. If moonstone is your quadrant it won’t come from an unhealthy imitation but from yourself and inspirations that ring true 💕

And while thinking more about this I realised that I love having a small fun element in my looks, like I wear rainbow shoe laces and fun colorful socks even if my style is quite simple otherwise. I want to lean into that now 🥳
