"曼荼羅 (Mandara) are geometric configurations of symbols, mainly found in Eastern religions like Buddhism and Shintoism, where they're commonly used as tools for spiritual practicioners. 多陀阿伽陀 (Tathāgata) is a term in Buddhism that is often thought to mean either "one who has thus gone" (tathā-gata), "one who has thus come" (tathā-āgata), or sometimes "one who has thus not gone" (tathā-agata). In the English translation, three words were left untranslated: 御伽 (Otogi) is an archaic term that refers to someone who stays with a (young) lord or noble throughout the night, comforting them. Nowadays it is used with the meaning of "phantasy" or "fairy tale". 斑 (Madara) means "spots" or "dots". 送り人 (Okuribito) describes a person who sees someone else off." This is my personal favorite song off the album and the one I recommend if I'm trying to show someone what unique style this album brought to the table.

What I imagine seems a lot like what you said. 😮 ❤ I imagine a king observing the devastated land of a very humble and good people as you will be the kingdom of the fairies. You describe fallen soldiers, cries of helpless fairies seeing other beautiful fairies consumed by fire. and in the quiet parts of the song images of burned houses and remains of these people.😢

Otogi is, hands down, my favourite thing they've written in Years. I fucking love this (and dude your imagery ain't wrong) song. Theyve set such a perfect fucking atmosphere, and Kyo really seems to open the fuck up with those harmonies. The way this is structured, the harmonies, the way they incorporate the bass line reminds me of older, bass driven dir, along with that gorgeous tone of the drums. I absolutely love this one! The next song actually slides directly out of this one as if they're connected, and it's such a good feeling

I will most likely be posting the next video tomorrow (or I guess it would technically be later today for me), very strong finish to the album. All the vocal work on this one is so good!

It took me a while to edit this one which is why I only just posted it today. I screwed up the recording on this, so I didn't actually record my microphone or my computer audio. I tried the best I could to match up the song file with what I could hear from my headphones through my phone microphone 😵‍💫 So aside from being an idiot, I think it turned out pretty close to what it would have with my actual computer audio being recorded lol.
