This has to be my favorite game I've seen on your channel! It beautifully illustrates that chess is not exclusively about making the most logical moves, it's about hiding your motives from your opponent and ensnaring them with moves they don't expect or understand. I'm certain there are more exciting and brilliant games out there, but this whole strategy goes against so many of the basic concepts of chess, it's amazing to me to see something like this unfold so beautifully.

I see A.I do that thing too so if your friends push all his pawn up, you already had a kinght and/or a bishop in the game, if your piece are attack you will have to bring back your piece so next move you will simply block his pawn with your pawn and suddenly your pieces are more devolve than him even tho you have the black pieces, that's my way to win those pawns games

Looking at the beginning of the game, regardless of the outcome I've come to a surprising observation: Emil lulled his opponent. By only focusing on his pawns he somehow got his opponent to do the same. However because Emil started first he already had greater positioning on the board by marching alot of his pawns into passed positions while giving himself greater space to develop his other pieces. It is even mentioned as simple observations of how cramped up Thomas' side of the board looks with a number of his own pieces underdeveloped.

Let's see: first Diemer joined the Nazi party, then he freaked out on Nostradamus, followed by a lifelong residence in a lunatic asylum. Nobody could say that Diemer hadn't prepared himself properly for a game like this. Take notes and learn, young chess-players.

Even if white wins in the end, the 6:46 - 6:50 "Check-Mate" is NOT correct, since the king kan take the undefended knight on b7. Actually, none of the consecutive few moves provide any check-mate either. But it was a great match indeed and I appreciate your comments! :)

Strange game. This channel is my fuel for chess thirst. Again Agadmator rockzzz he has mate in his name and the way he explained why rook is captured instead of defending pawn is amazing. Also became psychological at a point where Thomas Heiling could have done the developmental move but he exchanged pawn out of frustration. That too at GM level people don't like to be cramped for room. I came in here because a guy challenged me the same way pawn army & I found it very interesting

Very strange game. Thanks for showing. Perhaps he was channeling Nostradamus while playing this one. I wonder if growing up in Baden inspired him to play chess. I think that was the site of many important chess games/ tournaments in the early 20th century, if I'm not mistaken.
