Hey Seb! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. I agree that there is no “one” diet but it is important to eat whole real foods and get the processed and inflammatory foods out of our diets. I am eating a whole food plant based diet without added oils and doing great! I am 17 years onto my journey with MS and I do believe it helps. It is not just diet though. I also take medication, exercise regularly, get good sleep, practice mindfulness/kindness, and take supplements under the guidance of my neurologist and naturopathic doctor. All of these are key to my health and wellbeing. Namaste my friend.

Hey Seb and everyone in the MS club. I'd like to add a bit of information on the diets. Yes you're right that different diets works for one and not for the other. One of my friend suggested taking a food intolerance test ( not allergy test ). He has MS too, but with a bit more experience than me. The food intolerance test will show you, which foods you're intolerant to. After excluding those type of foods from your everyday it'll do wonders. My friend is living life with only using this method, without no medication and he's totally fine, doing exercises, having a clear mind. In my case I also felt the positive effect of the test. I'm feeling way better than before. This is a good method to decrease inflammation greatly in the body. Food intolerance tests are not that popular YET. I did my test in Hungary, but shortly after here in Romania the testing was also available. So it'll be soon everywhere. Hope this information helps someone out and if you have question, then feel free to ask.

I did the OMS diet for several years when first diagnosed. It helped to feel I could do something positive about my diagnosis. Now I just try to combine a reasonably healthy diet with exercise and keeping other aspects of life as ' healthy ' as possible too.

The truth. As you say, we are all different, so it is necessary to try. It is good to create your own diet protocol and eliminate food that makes you feel worse. I wish you a lot of strength and happiness.

Hi, I don't know if my diet is called anything, but this is what I do, and have done for over 10 years. What happened is that I feel better in the brain. A little better calm. A little more sharpened. I have been able to exercise more, which has made my body better. Of course, my MS is at war in my body, but I am resisting better. Breathe better. I eat turmeric with black pepper in a little water for breakfast. Fiber-enriched oatmeal. Protein drink. Am a vegetarian but eats fish. And I fast 2 days a week. About 12 hours without food. I avoid sugar as much as possible. My taste buds have therefore improved. Trains 4 times a week in the bath. And I treat myself to pizza sometimes and preferably wine. Or else good and very unhealthy. For me, it is important to manage to be as useful as I can in everyday life, because then I can also freak out sometimes. The strangest change is probably what stopping sugar has done. Because when I would take a pastry one day, it was as if my mouth was on fire. We are simply numbed and numbed by sugar. The pastry was unfortunately not good then, but now easier to give up. Anyway, overall I feel so much better now than when I ate differently. And sugar is the worst and clearest culprit for my health. But don't forget to act a little crazy sometimes because life is too short to be super talented. Hug

I feel like these strict diets like Wahls Protocol are great for helping people feel more in control of their situation, but I also grew up with a couple of anorexic friends and I hear similar language in people that are on these diets. Things like being stressed out and not getting enough sleep are just as important as what you eat, but are harder to regiment.

Totally agree Seb. My humble opinion is that we people, in any aspect of our life, should not embrace a single protocol and consider it as "the" revealed truth. After all, the science is a set of transitory truths, a permanent coming and going. The best diet, the best treatment is the one that is good for each person, at a certain time. And always with open minds, common sense and listening to our inner voice. Always a pleasure to see and hear you Seb. Peace.

Dear Seb, I have glutein and lactose intolerance, so I try to avoid them. I eat organic food and a lot of veggies and fruits, and I eat less meat, and fish or seafood as much as I can because of Omega3. I wish you a good time, I enjoy your videos. Take care of yourself ❤

I've seen articles that say that immune system run amok, such as multiple sclerosis, is related to intestinal bacteria (Clostridium bacteroides). I try to actively consume fiber, which regulates intestinal bacteria.

I live with my daughter and family, so I can’t buy for just me. My grandsons will eat it before I can get to it so I have found that any thing “white” causes inflammation so I keep away from them. Things like potatoes, bread, tortillas, rice, cauliflower, cottage cheese, milk, sour cream, sugar and even apples. I can eat my weight in veggies, leafy greens, fruits, meats and fish. I just have to be careful and listen to my body. Diets are something I used to try but until I went to a nutritionist I didn’t know the secret to information foods and how much of a role “white foods” were a big cause of my health. I do eat some white foods now and then but in small doses I’ve learned to cope and I’m careful. So sometimes a nutritionist is the person to take all your health information and help you how to eat right…. Blessings

I'm currently attempting the best bet diet by Matthew Embry (living proof) fantastic documentary which can be viewed on youtube for free. This diet for the most part is gluten free & dairy free with some exceptions towards certain foods that other ms diets completely are against.

So true- we are pulled this way and that with diet advice with nothing settled just the advice to "eat well". As for me I try to avoid all processed food, concentrate on protein, eat very little gluten or any foods/drinks with chemicals. My husband has his own issues with many food sensitivities and ulcerative colitis. He has studied diet approaches for his condition has moved himself to a NED status for years now and is doing great. He is starting to realize that "fixing" MS isn't quite so easy but still encourages me to follow his advice. He does the cooking so my diet benefits just from that ;-0 his current fad he is looking into is "carnivore diet" and to be totally opposite of Vegan but some people are having success with it as well kzbin.info/www/bejne/maLQkmeNj855fJo
