I lived in Philippines and I do not see any problem with PRRD fight against drugs. You should investigate first and should also show the other side of the story. Drug was sold rampantly everywhere even in schools and so many victims of drug addicts. Many families were broken and lives lost. @georgiebennett33362 жыл бұрын
@@crookshanks0474 because that's what the Duterte Supporters keep pushing. They keep saying that every critic of Duterte were enemies of their administration, was a supporter of the Liberal Party, and was influenced by the ''Aquino" administration, the administration that toppled the 20-year Marcos dictatorship in 1986, to destroy their "beloved' Duterte who has a populist type of administration. And in the past few years, those who criticized the government for its inhumane and unethical actions were red-tagged as "communists" both by the administration and his supporters, which is absurd. Famous Celebrities such as Catriona Gray, Liza Soberano, and Angel Locsin received hateful, gender-based discrimination from Duterte's supporters just because they criticized the problematic decisions of the president. I forgot to include Chief Justice Leila De Lima and Journalist Maria Ressa who Duterte tried to put in jail, with the former being imprisoned for criticizing Duterte's Davao Death Squad and War on Drugs. That's why they keep calling every media "biased" or other stuff because the news that comes out talking about Duterte's drug war and other problems was terribly negative. Since he's a problematic president, it's no surprise that the news about him was often negative. And now, these same people who supported Duterte are now supporting Marcos, Jr. to become president in this year's 2022 Philippine Presidential Election. For goodness sake, he's the son of Ferdinand Marcos, a dictator who reigned for 20 years in the Philippines. And Marcos Jr. benefited from his father's unjust actions and stealing during his dictatorial era that led to the economic downfall of the country and yet he keeps denying it. The thing is, you don't have to be a supporter of the Aquinos to spot how problematic the Duterte administration and his supporters are. All you need is a bit of common sense, empathy, and humanity.

But the fear factor became one of the many elements that prevented the younger generations from making the wrong choice, at the same time convincing countless users/addicts to surrender themselves to the authorities. This scenario is a big score for the government against the big time drug dealers as the war on drugs reduced the number of new and current customers because of the fear of being killed, which leads to them increasing their prices in order to profit, in turn reducing demand, thus further reducing the numbers of drug incidence. Long story short, the government is putting the drug lords out of business by targetting the lower class to reduce the number of future and current users/buyers of narcotics. Basically, the drug problem is like a plant. If the government can't pull out the roots (drug lords) because it has already dug too deep within the soil (country), they can just deprive the soil of its nutrients (drug pushers) by leaching (killing the pushers), preventing the plant from growing, eventually dying from the lack of nutrients from the soil. (If the drug lords don't have money to manufacture/buy drugs, they won't be able to sell drugs anymore, solving the drug problem)

Basically, he's eliminating the "choice" that eventually would lead to addiction for the non-users at the same time convincing users/addicts to surrender themselves for rehabilitation, hence the significant reduction of crime and drug incidence in the country after 4 years. They can offer support, show them there are better alternatives, and point out valid reasons why this isn't the road they want to go down. If you were actually interested in keeping communities safer, in keeping families together, and protecting men's lives... here are the results... Duarte's hard stance KILLS indiscriminately and destabilizes already fragile families. Honestly some of you have no respect. Stop blaming women. They're fixing this mess. Stop making it about politics. It doesn't need to be political. Stop making light of the experiences of these women. This video is about the effects to women because, not only is it a female run initiative but because all the male victims are DEAD and thus can't speak for themselves. Law enforcement seized 1,232 pounds (559 kilograms) of fentanyl in 2016-2018 and 7,710 pounds (3,497 kilograms) in 2019-2021. California dad who lost daughter to fentanyl poisoning sends message to Biden: 'Mr. President, where are you?’ Capelouto said the amount of fentanyl pouring into the U.S. is a national security threat. And it's funny how you Duterte supporters now are supportive with the olympic gold medal winner, while before her family was receiving death treaths after your beloved government had put her on the so-called "ouster matrix" and had linked her to drugs.

If Duterte approved the killing of stuff traffickers and substance abusers; was the lady’s husband a dealer or abuser? Why wasn’t that acknowledged in her story?
@2point71828182845903 жыл бұрын
Duterte even linked the olympic gold medal winner to drugs in the past and she also was put onto that infamous "ouster matrix"... Her family received death treats... And now she is a hero his tone changed drastically... Anyone could be tagged by that president as a "drug personality" really... And in the meantime he is an addict himself who already has difficulties to keep his body balance (as seen just before the last SONA). Most addicts in USA already abuse such prescription drugs prescribed by a doctor, just like Duterte does... Then the influential or wealthy enough ones will get it prescribed by doctors forever... Fentanyl is one of the strongest and worst drugs out there for sure. The useful medical use case for example is if someone who will die anyway has strong pain. Someone who is capable of running a country surely won't be using Fentanyl.

A lot of ppl don’t think it should be illegal in the first place though. There’s also a lot ppl who evaluate the morality of something not by how easily the can avoid being victimized by it but if anyone being victimized by it is just regardless of whether their choices got them there or not. You don’t have to worry about dying from suicide if you never try to kill yourself but most ppl would want to live in a world where we try to stop people who do.

The only reason they are named “filipinos” was because they were property of King Phillip. Till this day Duarte pays homage to their enslavers rather than being a real leader. Edit: Can’t red tag an American 🇺🇸 😘
