This is exactly what happened to me. This might sound crazy but in 2015 I was in the midst of a faith crisis in regards to my religion in the LDS church. Leaving that faith added a great deal of stress to my life and the result of that stress is the pelvic issues I'm having today. I live in Utah and I'm triggered often by the environment in which I live. I'm a 49 year old male so this condition is probably less common for men. It is getting better and I have been doing some of the exercises in your videos and they are definitely helping. Thank you so much for caring enough to help people with this highly misunderstood condition.

I haven't even watched the whole video yet--busy doing Lift first :-) -- but what a perfect topic that relates to all kinds of issues (like chronic constipation) that can negatively impact the pelvic floor.

On my second round of this, and yes it started during the pandemic. Lost my job and was dealing with a herniated disc and just pain. Did traditional physical therapy for the back and later pelvic floor for my cpps. Absolutely no help, she had me shave my rear so she could use electrodes, and measure the muscles in the pelvis. Waste of time and money, and guess the next step was a finger in the rear. I quit paying the crazy money, as she didn't take insurance. I would just clean up the diet stay active, with what you can do. Definetly think yoga works, I got a tight right inner hip with pain upon massage. Stick with your research checkout downtown Mike and a couple of other cpps videos. I think one guy gives you a six month program for free he just asked for a donation to a book. I don't think pelvic floor therapy work. I think my back was the instigator during covid though. This new round isn't fun either but is bad but not as bad. Green tea and yoga and more research help. A good shrink or minister are an added bonus!

When I bend or squat the right lower back hurts and then shoots down crawling pain right into my groin, S2 area. So far I have not been able to prevent this. Hurts when, sitting, laying, walking or standing. Stops when I am asleep I think, either wakes me up or takes little time to crawl down and goes right to the S2 area. Been having Superior Gastric Plexus blocks every 4 to six months which helps the pain to not mess with my bladder or bowel area and also have had blocks on L? ruptured discs. No doctor out of 5 specialists have been able to stop pain completely. Any idea what this is? Hoping I don't have this severe pain the rest of my life. I do have PTSD though they took my anxiety medication away after 15 yrs of the two meds working together because the new law is you can't have two specific medicines together. So now I'm having this after millions of INS & Out Of Pocket Dollars were spent helping me they past this law. The urologist said I'm not prolapsed and my Trans Vaginal Mesh seems to be okay, even though it's been recalled so they started me on Marabectriq 25 mgs for leakage and moved me up to 50 mg after 3 months or so. This helps urgency and most leakage after bearing two children many yrs ago. I still feel the crawling down pain, swirling around and a feeling like taping against my insides and cramping. Almost feels like something sliding inside me moving, squeezing etc. No one seems to really know how to stop this pain. The spine Doctor thinks this is from two of the L dics that were ruptured. This pushes and squeezes, cramps the muscles or something inside of me and also a vibration is felt sometimes, it's horrible. Any recommendations may help me.

That’s what led me to Dr Bri. I had antibiotics and scans but nothing was found. So I started to focus on relaxing my pelvic floor and cut out caffeine, took cbd oil and realised how stressed I’d been recently. It’s helped and the need to wee all the time did stop. Good luck to you. 💕

@@gunasekaran5662 definitely get an appointment with your GP to rule out any bladder/prolapse issues. Dr Bri always recommends seeing a pelvic floor physiotherapist who can really guide you. But if that’s not possible GP/Dr and work your way through Dr Bris you tube videos to see if you find some relief. But seeing a professional in the first instance could really rule out lots of possible issues. Good luck.
